Game Information:

To be honest even then, it still leaves a lot still left to be question from this one piece of dialogue. Like ok, they disbanded, but was it only the Detroit division, or the whole operation? Just saying that "they" disbanded is a very vague term. Also, what happened to Alex and "The Crew"? To be honest I feel Ubisoft just doesn't even remember this game at all.

I fairly liked this game. I was disappointed there wasn't more damage done to your car and how it would visually repair itself gradually in 30 seconds. I loved the cutscenes and the story though and most of the gameplay was pretty solid. Lots of cool exploration. I always thought Alex looked like if Walter White was a racer hah

Let’s be honest, most if not all racing game stories will always have a certain level of cringe, I think what the first crew does is quite interesting compared to the now focus of the passion of sport, buddy buddy stuff etc. I wish this type of storytelling will come back or be improved “cough cough payback”. Ah good old times before the worst update in video game history called "Wild Run" came out, and ruined 99% of these cutscenes with horrible notorious physics freakout glitches. (Also destroyed the graphics, removed 40+ weathers from the game, destroyed the challenging and tactile driving/handling/physics model during gameplay and turned it into some floaty hovercar physics, completely removed a lot of ambient content like peds/traffic/animals/region-specific street props and environment effects like leaves/newspapers/haze/mist, messed up the audio mixing and made the wind noise louder than the engine and mission music, worsened performance, added microstutter for everyone, I can go on for a while with this).
