I don't know what motherboard and CPU you got But if you're planning for a B550M then I would say go for 5th Gen RAM supported board like B760 Pro. and cpu needs to be atleast i5-12th Gen. Yup I build the same

Test Drive Solar Crown has my hopes high. Based on alpha footage, it looks pretty tight. Cars are pretty, graphics are probably on par with FH5 (footage hasn’t really focused on anything besides cars which is good), audio sounds nice af, and it generally looks good. It’s in Alpha so there is also room for improvement. I’ve been following it for a year or two I believe, and it’s truly the only competitor. Only thing that will be hugely different is physics. They are going for a more simulation experience vs arcade like FH5.

I see my biggest gripe from TC2 being that you can never go higher than 60fps is still present in Motorfest. On a fast reacting panel like an OLED 60fps completely ruins the experience.

@@frager1gaming32 Nvidia Gsync even smoother, but 60FPS is still 60FPS and that is shit in 2024, no matter how you slice it. I had 150FPS in the old GRID cargame 12-15 years ago man. Ubisoft are just getting worse&worse for every year, no one is going to pay 18€ for their shitty online subscription lol. They have the worst game catalogue for the most money out of all the gaming sub platforms, it just tells me that they have lost all the connections to their fan base and even reality and are on a huge downward slope. I would not be shocked to see them file for bankruptcy within 10 years. It is sad.

Hi, I know this is 5 months late, however-- Personally I think 4090 is a bit overkill unless you're really trying to push for steady 4K Ultra gameplay. Most games don't require that much power anyways. If anything, 4070-TI Super performs JUST as fine in 4k at a cheaper cost. Or if you need a bit more power, the 4080 Super also works wonders as well. However, if you really want that EXTRA power, then sure, you can go for 4090- Just keep in mind the immense cost and power consumption it has. Otherwise, going from a 2060 to a 4090 is a HUGE boost. I'd say it's worth it IF you have the money to spare. I just thought I'd throw in other options that have better value.

the only thing i am curious about is why it seems the fps was capped at 60? based off of gpu usage it seems like it could achieve much more, and maybe it might feel more smooth and consistent when capped but for the sake of a showcase video with the 4090 i would usually expect to see the fps uncapped to see the true potential of the 4090 in this game

Able to run this near perfect with my 3080 12GB at 4k, though I get some stutter problems with the forestry areas. Sucks, but I do plan to upgrade at some point. Motorfest for sure is there for a while to hold me off until Solar Crown comes out though...

OMG 2023 new make and still it is locked to 60 FPS as the old game, what waste of potential for one of the most fun games to drive around a big open world on a motorcycle, except GTA 5 where bikes runs like shit, there really is no other open world game like this to ride motorcycle in. It is a shame that they do not offer above 100 fps and better graphics in this game common Ubisoft it is 2024. I had 150 FPS in the GRID cargame 12 years ago.
