This should have been implemented when buying a PHYSICAL (or if bought digitally) DISC game such as this that can be PLAYABLE OFFLINE from the start, not being a live service on a physical disc (again if bought digitally). The only good thing done by Ubisoft since they learn their lesson after the OG The Crew is dead/gone.

All i'm thinking is they prolly gonna copy what NFS (Not Unbound but Payback/Heat for examples) do when it comes playing Online or Offline and as for the Summit? It's prolly still requires to use internet connections since it uses leaderboard thingy and it rotates per week. So in short (imo) they'll let us choose to play fully offline or online but if we want the summit stuff and buy vanity items or bundles they requires to play it online to get them.

Actually now that I think about it I think I know the solution for the offline mode... usually when u play the online game all the rewards and progress is saved in the cloud but what if they provide an option in the settings where it will save the current progress u have had soo far in the local files of your PC... in that way when we access the offline mode on the menu or home page you will be redirected to the saved file in local file now ofcourse if you lose that data u will lose the local saved file but you can still get it back by backup from online mode now I know this will only work when game is still on service then what about after it went out of service? simple at that point what ever content, playlists, cars everything will be set in offline so that everything will be available in offline even after the service

​@@iyadegamerX licensing. In order for the cars to appear in this game, they need licenses from the higher ups of the car brands( Ford, Chevy, dodge, etc.) in order to be allowed to have it in the game, that includes car models( Camaro, mustang, etc.) as well.

I hope offline comes sooner, like within this year, why do you want it to be always online? I get ironing out bugs but I would think they would be working on it for a bit once they announce it, just because I like to bring my steam deck on flights or long trips and yk, being able to play the game without an internet conection when im just playing the bloddy singleplayer would be nice

Not exactly. This isn't as simple as you think. The amount of resources to put this in every platform is complicated because each platform runs differently( might be similar, but not exactly the same hardware wise). They got to make sure they are able to do it without any massive problems because if the problems are very severe, the worse case scenario is that they cancel the offline mode plan completely.
