Hey Dylann, That’s a pretty slick video (first “how to” I’ve watched) and I owe you and Carlos my thanks. Found you guys because of the excellent Marvel Champions content and just got hooked to your channel Been watching and enjoying the top 50 list videos and bought the Crew on your recommendation (passed on deep sea for now as I’m trying to drag the family kicking and screaming into this hobby). So thank you. I really enjoy a lot of the content you guys put out there and the production is very good (was especially impressed with this) Keep up the amazing work and wishing you all the best for 2022 (would love to see a clip of the snowy scenes you have mentioned a couple of times) (Love from drizzly England)

Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment, Dan! I'm so glad to hear that you picked up The Crew and I hope your family really enjoys it. It's always amazing to hear from fans from different countries. I have family in Portugal so I'm not wholly unfamiliar with England, but haven't yet been myself! I hope you have a great new year! -Dylann

Thank you for the video tutorial! If anyone is really short on time, here's the basic game play described in exactly 100 words: Complete each mission by helping each player acquire specific assigned cards or “tasks” (four colors X numbered 1 through 9) by winning tricks containing assigned task. All “playing cards” are dealt to players. Deal and place smaller “task cards” in center. Players circle to pick tasks. Player with Black4 trump card (1 of 4 trumps) picks and plays first card. Players can “radio” once per mission to reveal one card and reveal as highest or lowest card of that color, or only card of that color. The number of tasks, player-task assignments, task sequence, and radio access vary by mission.

Great explanation. One part I didn't fully understand is the difference between 1,2,3 and >, >>, >>> aren't they asking you to do the same thing?
@AllYouCanBoard4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! So the difference is that with 1,2,3 - those literally have to be the first, second and third tasks you complete. However with the arrows, the > arrow doesn't actually have to be the first task you complete, it just needs to be completed before >> arrow task. Likewise the >> needs to be completed after the > and before the >>> task but it doesn't have to be the second task you complete, for instance if there are other numbered tasks in the mission. Similar, but different! Hope that helps!

@2:58 "you draw a task card", but in the rules on page 9, it says "Tom is the commander and will be first to CHOOSE one of the task cards. So is it random? or deliberate?
@Tetchuo8 ай бұрын
You draw the requisite number of tasks before taking it in sequential turns to choose one of the drawn tasks, starting with the commander.
@metal_helm8 ай бұрын
@@Tetchuo so it is random, because you are drawing them correct?

Is there no difference in tokens between arrows and numbers? Or do the numbers have to be won 1 after the other without interruption of other cards being won in between? Because it was specifically mentioned with the arrows that different cards could be won in between.
@pavlosurzhenko40487 ай бұрын
If you have 4 tasks and the tokens "1" and "3", than the tasks with those tokens have to be the first and the third task completed. If you have 4 tasks and the tokens ">" and ">>", than the task with ">" has to be completed before the task with ">>".

Got this game for Christmas and want to play it badly, but just keep getting confused as I go through the rules. So what is that reminder card for? What is it to remind you or others of?
@AllYouCanBoard3 жыл бұрын
The reminder card is just a way to remind everyone around the table that you have a card faceup on the table when you've used your communication token. Sometimes people can just look at your hand and assume "oh they have 2 cards left" and forge they technically have 3 in their hand because the one on the table is still considered in their hand. So it's just a signal for that to all players!

Do you always have to divide the mission cards or is it possible to have them open on the table? With 1,2,3,4? And if its not possible, does the captain have to take number 1? Or can he choose
@AllYouCanBoard Жыл бұрын
Hi Xander, you always have to divide the mission cards as evenly as possible. The captain always has first choice and isn't required to take the #1 task if there is one. The captain can choose any one of the four available. Hope this helps. Have fun! Hope this helps!

Now say your friend has the task of a pink 9 but you have the pink 9 card, do you automatically lose the mission?
@AllYouCanBoard4 жыл бұрын
If you won the trick with the pink 9 then yes you would immediately lose. If you mean you had the pink 9 in your hand still, well there are some ways your friend can get that from you. Thanks for watching!

@@AllYouCanBoard Hello, and thank you for explaining this game in the clearest and best way that my 10 yr understood it! :) Other videos we watched were more confusing or left some stuff out. I just have a question lets say my son has the task to win the pink 9... but I have it... can I use the pink 9 and put it down with the communication token so my kids know that I have it so I can hint to them, look I have it ... so my other son and I can try to lose so my other kid could win it and win the game?
