Oh what a beautiful shop. We dont have to many shops. Joanne's, Michael's and craft wearhouse.. Hobby lobby, a quilt shop and a knit shop sounds like a lot but they really all carry the same thing. I plan to visit my antique store to see if I can find a spool. I was looking at the Tilly Rose book yesterday. I hope to get it soon. Thanks for the trip to the lovely shop. Excited about the new project

Oh my! Makes me want to jump on a plane and head to Sydney. You are so fortunate to have such a treasure of a store. I purchased a small spool, but now you made think about that. I purchased the Kazuko wild flowers book from amazon and i agree, her books are wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

What an absolutely lovely video. I love that shop. My daughter may be coming to Australia in 2000 and 23 and she usually is in Sydney I'm going to ask if she will find the shop and get me something. Now just to figure out what. I'm going to be doing your new project and I am so fortunate that I already had antique schools from an old factory. One of them is big enough for what I want to do. The other two are smaller and one of them only has one end on it. But I'm sad now I just have to figure out what all I need. I also have two embroidery books by your Japanese artist. And one of them is just about garden flowers. I love her books and her work. I'm going to look into the Tilly Rose book and see if I can buy it here in the US. This is been a very helpful video

That shop is amazing!! I don't know of any shop like that here in Florida. Such beautiful things. I started cross stitching when I was 16 (I'm 61 yrs old now) and I still do it today. I love all kinds of stitchery. I'm so excited to get started on our volume 3 Stitchery project. I hope you girls have a fantastic time together over the holiday! Be safe. TFS. ❤

What a wonderful little store. I've never seen so many threads in one place. I live in Huntington Beach, Ca. and not far from me is a store called Piecemakers. They specialize in anything regarding sewing etc.. Specifically quilting. They've been in Costa Mesa , Ca. for at least 40 years. They used to travel teach and often taught in Australia. Just curious to see if you knew of them. They also teach beaded projects and ribbon embroidery. You would love the books they have published. They also sell on line. I just bought the last Tilly Rose book. I love her work. I know you must be having a wonderful time with your sister. She's such a sweetheart. Didn't mean to write you a letter..lol.. sorry. Thank you Sara for all you do and share.😘xoxo

What eye candy! I would have to come with a list to stick to, otw my self control would be lost! I used to sell jewelry and used those old spools for bracelet displays. Fortunately those spools are much more affordable in the states in antique shops.
