Awesome! You are an excellent instructor! What type of frame stand do you use? Where can I buy the pattern? Where is your favorite place to buy thread? Do you ever use a slate frame? Is the plastic wrap to keep the rest of your work clean? What type of fabric is best for crewel work?

Excellent tutorial, from the tone of your voice to the pace and clarity of your explanations! Thank you! Is this a good technique to make sky and sunset gradients? With embroidery floss would it be too thin to fill between the stitches?

could you please explain why you have plastic wrap on the design? thank you
@crewelworkco6 жыл бұрын
Hi Jen, we use it instead of binding to protect the linen and the work you have already done. It works just as well as normal binding and is much quicker. Phillipa Explains it all here - www.crewelwork.com/pages/crewel-embroidery-videos. Thank you for your question!
