Have you tried triple cast with barrier on it? Kinda lik the damage field, the walls would freeze the enemy in and the barrier can just keep doing its massive damage@@polio860

I like to combine plasma on bounce + piercing + infestation + wall because infestation's unique property is that it has a lot of projectiles in just one spell and it bounces a ridiculous amount of times.

Oh yeah suggestion! If you could give a second or two to look at a build you’re showing off that would be helpful! Sometimes it’s hard to find a good spot to pause and look. Also maybe a circle of shielding episode could be cool! Thanks for your work

Great showcase! I completely disregarded the barrier spells but you are right, even outside of their damage potential just being able to spawn an indestructible protective box around yourself feels absolutely overpowered, and on top of that they look stylish af. I wonder how they would behave when combined with the requirement spells. One thing I think you could do better is use the spell lab mannequin more to showcase the raw damage potential better. The damage field build one shooting early game enemies doesn't really say much about how good it is.

They are not quite indestructible - it's actually kinda cool to cut one in half with a lumi drill - it produces a weird grey glassy coloured rock in the shape of the platform.

Using a barrier as a barrier is genius. Removing delay from delayed spellcasting to make 'spellcasting' is genius. I invented nolla bomb to make 'explosion' you should spend 30 minutes on that

The lake boss can be demolished quite easily with that. I added the lighting weakening curse to the wand so the boss continuously becomes more and more weak to lightning, and with add trigger lightning bolt on the platforms, he was gone very fast !

Forgive me, but i was under the assumption that modifers had to be placed before multicasts to apply to all casted spells. Am i mistaken in thinking this?

Yes that's a mistake. They only need to be placed before a projectile on non shuffle wands. Multicasts only dictate how many projectiles are going to be included with the modifiers . People do that for preference, clarity and neatness but it's not necessary

It hadn't occured to me to put X Thrower debufs on these... They're great also for use with cement to make elaborate structures - if you want to go a bit minecraft.

Yes delayed spellcast is required. If you use only triple cast. Nolla will be applied to the walls and circle of vigour

Hey, I like your videos and ideas. One thing you might want to do to get more views is speed up your videos 150%. You talk slowly and it is perfect for this. Yeah, people can do that in YT, but its is more about shorter video format. Btw, I like that you go into detail and remind the viewer what different spells do. A few questions still for this video, what heppens when this wall based build interacts with bosses with damage mirroring or a swaper?

It's a good suggestion tx. This build is not swapper safe. Most of the modifiers won't hurt you, but the plasma definitely will kill you. Even without plasma. Without breathless you'll end up suffocating in the wall. For bosses that have matter eater they'll eat up the wall and the projectile so it's weak against them. But damage mirroring is not an issue. Because they can't mirror teleporting cast so the wall will never reach you

Is there a way to get a small offset at the end of the long distance cast, maybe a pattern cast with trigger lumi drill? Why I am asking is because I think it would be brilliant if a box could be constructed, while a cross is oke, its kinda awkward, both for trapping and for defence. While a proper box would probably take around 2 wall, 2 floor 4 lumi pattern and multi, for 10 spells, it would also be way more useful as you can box an enemy with the damage fields way more consistently. Also today I learned that the origin of the plasma does the most damage, too bad that's the part I usually touch when I am not careful enough and walk forward while firing.

It is possible to create a box with walls and platforms. However it requires a lot of slots. Maybe I will showcase this soon. I'm waiting for a certain inner spell to be released.

Fun fact, Tentacler and Freeze effect work together to one shot most non-bosses in the game because Tentacler is a melee and Frozen enemies when melee'd are one shot. Only enemies not affected by Freeze aren't one shot, but since most of those are mechanical enemies, you can put thunder thrower on it to great effect

imagine using a pollen powered spell generator (PPSP) to make a loooong walkable floor made out of barriers, and even miking it with the exmaples in the video OR using vertical path for making a giant fireball shooting wall (or floor with horizontal path)

Can we create an unlimited loop by adding a trigger to the barrier and allowing another barrier to come out of it? If you add a teleportist cast, will it follow the enemy?

It's not unlimited, because you're not casting the original again, you're casting the next spell on the wand.

Although a lot of these interactions look a bit meh to me, the "explosion behind the wall" wand from 3:21 is looking nice. I also like the idea of cheesing every boss imaginable by just sitting inside a wall and firing at them until they eventually die.
