Sources The Crimson Diablos is mentioned - and shown - exactly once, in a sketch for Hunter's Encyclopedia I, which is reused for Illustrations I, which you can buy in english. Basically nothing is canonically known about it, except that it is big, red and much stronger than a normal Diablos.

What about one seeing a Plesioth cross the desert in the middle of the night? Would be funny. As Unnatural History Channel put it, “Any explorer or hunter who sees one doing this may wonder what mushrooms they used to make their Mega Potions.” (There is precedent for what I’m talking about. Some Plesioth populations are stranded in water sources in the desert, and so are some Real-Life Crocodiles. Those crocodiles will travel across the desert between water sources during the night to breed with crocodiles at different water sources.)

I wonder, if elder dragons are defined by the sheer ludicrous heights their biology reached, then would this diabos, or any other species hypercharging to such extent could qualify as an elder? Just like some of the gigantic snakes elders, the simple fact that this body doesn't collapse on itself would already be a wonder. If the serie ever explore this possibility, it could very bring fascinating options. Just like some rare monster before, but to a greater point, those would be world treats not because of several powers but just one, stupidly developed attribute, this drablos humongous size, a beast with blade sharp and study enough to instantly level a wide area, a monster with a scream sac so powerful it could obliterated anything on miles. Heck any of the aquatic species could undergo deep sea gigantism if they had variants in the most profound part of this world. If you ever read this, I would love to hear you ponder this possibility in future content
