Right? Like before then it's just a funny bit, but at that point it's like, Oh no, they thought this THROUGH.

4:38-4:44 There is something so quintessentially British about pushing a man to his death, with a proper "sorry". 🤣

I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again If The Crimson Permanent Assurance was a full length feature it would have been one of the most monumental & beloved pieces in cinematic history.

What a hoot all those old actors must have had every day on set making that! ... and probably with no fkn idea how their antics were going to fit in to the final epic story.

When this part of the movie ended, I thought that was the actual show. I was like "who the frick would want to buy such a short movie?" Beyond Creative.

Terry Gilliam is brilliant 😊 his animation was just off the wall. ☺️

Terry Gilliam: "Hey guys, can I make this epic 16-minute standalone short with insane production values before our movie begins?" Rest of Monty Python: "Sure, go right ahead!"

Whaaaa dude you really are in the minority on that one Im afraid, this is pure genius (unless you dont get british humor which in that case stick to nice american sitcoms)

The actors all died on the brink of a sequel. Age waits for no man and very few women. Hence the absence of ladies in this epic...

I stumbled on this accidentally when watching a clip of Meaning of Life. (Still haven't seen the whole thing outside those Fandago clips) But recently i saw this part in this boardroom with these execs talking about the stuff they owned until the ship building showed up interrupting the scene. I couldn't hear the name Idol yelled, but it sounded like THE CRIMSON PIRATES OF ZURICH, or something like that. But it sounded really funny and interesting. And now seeing a longer clip in context you've posted here, WOW, this looks ANAZING with a whole lot of whimsy!❤❤❤❤ Thank u for posting this clip and keeping it around all these years and not getting KZbin snapped. 🙏🏽❤️❤️
