I had 3 sons in the 70’s. I was a “newly born christian” and knew little about the Bible but read it everyday. One day I read that this Word was good to instruct my boys so that they could grow to a perfect human being. That day I started to read the Bible with them every night before bed. We would read and then talk about whatever we had read. Then, we prayed together. We also prayed before going to school and always blessed them (in high voice) when I took them to school just before they entered the building. They waited for me to say all the blessing in Numbers 6:24-26! This went on until they started going to University! They grew up with faith in God and in Jesus and are now blessing their children in the same way.

We have to ask for it, ask for wisdom ask for understanding, seek , knock, ask, till it happens, we are soldiers of the kings army, we have no clue what to do, that's a problem. Pray, seek knock ask, ask for a clean heart and a right spirit, ask for our households ask for a renewing of our land, of our hearts of our children, stand up and stand firm. The Lord will fight for us if we recognize we are all sinners and have fallen short, don't run like Adam did, run to God, confess, ask for forgiveness, He didn't say confess to the world so they will judge you, He said confess to Him, tell Him you recognize you can't do anything without Him. Nothing! Call out to Him, before it's to late, He loves us, good bad and ugly He loves us, He died for all of us took on our sins and now He's looking to see if you love Him for helping you.

I am begging God to help me as I have grown so discouraged and fearful and I am struggling. I very much desire to make a difference as I battle so many issues and challenges that seem well impossible and I know in my heart all this guilt and shame are not from the Lord but I also know I can do NOTHING without the Holy Spirit power.. Powerful conversation! There’s ah saying in the Caribbean “ children do what they see and not what you tell them to do”. This is why I try to be so careful of the example I’m setting for my children, after all they are souls loaned to me for ah time from God and one day I’ll have to answer to Him about my influence and the manner in which I raised them. God is doing big things! I am so blessed to see what he’s doing in the life of our teens. 2020 had a terrible impact on our teens, and it’s taken a lot of time and patience, and letting go and letting God. And continuing to read scripture consistently with them. But what the enemy meant for evil, God turned it to good. Praise Him for his goodness! My daughter and her friends started an independent Christian Lounge Club at their high school. They got permission to set up a booth at Freshman orientation last night.

My son went to a Christian university to become a pastor. However, the university hired a Greek professor who was a known atheist because of his knowledge. Unfortunately, he chose to turn my son into an atheist. He told me the worst thing I'd done was to raise him to believe the Word of God. However, Acts 16:31 is the eternal promise of God. Isa 54:13 is the eternal promise of God. There are so many others. God cannot lie. He will pursue him (and all the lost children of Christians) until my son (and they) realizes the amazing Love and mercy of Jesus once again.

This accurate view of a faith world view is exactly why I won’t bring my granddaughter with me to Easter service at WOC. I absolutely love WOC and pastor Allen. However, I’m not in support of a dressed up “easter bunny” present on Easter Sunday as a distraction from the real reason we’re showing up on Easter Sunday, to celebrate Christ rising from the grave. A display of the open tomb would be more appropriate and generate thought provoking conversation with our children and grandchildren. I left my home church because the pastor was touting the broadway play Wicked from the pulpit. It’s becoming harder and harder to find church’s who trust God will show up if they stick to biblical world views. The general population’s and the church’s need to be liked and accepted by everyone is causing true conviction to fall by the wayside.

I agree with Pastor Jackson but I am 78 years old. In all these years I have witnessed cliches that can’t be ignored in churches. The church has really failed in disciplining new believers. No program to mentor new Christians to help them understand the Bible and find their place of service.

Pastor Allen… the segment of the Christian body that I’ve seen deep growth & commitment are those who’ve been rejected by the church because we adopted a Supernatural Worldview of the Bible. We found people like Chuck Missler (from Calvary churches) and Dr. Michael Heiser teaching a more cohesive and informative way by filling us in to the worldview of the first Century Christians & Jews. I can’t go back now.

This was a GREAT video. But there was one ESSENTIAL thing missing. Barna was spot on with all he said but here's the thing. How do parents disciple their kids when they themselves 1) don't have a Biblical Worldview, 2) don't have a clue how to disciple because they never were and they don't know themselves WHY they believe what they do, and 3) the churches have Pastors & Elders who aren't apt to teach and are doing NOTHING to fix those two things? God says that the Holy Spirit has given Christians and the churches Teachers. Many are teaching but WHAT are they teaching? It's NOT how to make disciples.

I hear what Barna is saying but I would say the MOST important pastor in a child's life is the Father. I did not know that a person's worldview is formed by 13. I'd be interested in knowing more where he gets that from and why he thinks that's the case. The statistics given in the first 8min are alarming to say the least. Frightening. Terrifying. But the more I think about it the more I am not surprised. My own personal stats show only 2-3% of Christians who profess to be such actually are. So when you factor in the whole population it's really something to hear it's that high.
