Yeah exactly, it's like all of the another tanks in the game that have another weapons but can't use them. The only exception being the russian heavy linee with double guns.

The Churchill Crocadile also had upgraded frontal armour due to its role involving taking a face full of bunker and anti tank gun fire, it was thicker than the Tiger, but yeah, the flamethrower was the iconic thing everyone remembers, it would be like the Churchill AVRE not having the dustbin sized bunker buster mortar.

Churchills wasnt mean to be Tank Fighter anyway, it even classified as **Infantry Tank**, so ofc dont expect much Anti-Tank power from it, but still the armor was meant to withstand field AT guns

regarding the useless flamer idea i think that would be supper fun and just make the game feel more epic and cinematic but it should fire automatically when in range. I think machine guns in the tanks (not on top of turrets that require a gunner to be outside the tank) should also fire at targets within their viewing angles even though it would be useless, would just be extra cool. And I think they should add a co-op mechanic to tanks with multiple guns/turrets, it would be so much fun for an M3 Lee or an O-I etc to drive around with all the turrets moving and firing independently.

Technically if you use the historically accurate 75mm you get 12.5 degrees of gun depression (along the side), but I get you, 12 degrees of gun depression would be godlike

In Blitz there’s a flamethrower attachment you can mount to some vehicles. Whenever a match begins or you destroy a vehicle, it shoots flame about the length of a vehicle.

I'm working on the Sherman, since I'm a Sherman tank collector. Next will be Churchill Crocodile, if I manage it. That's because these two were actually on D-Day (even if Wargaming got the Sherman model wrong and the Crocodile is missing the flamethrower), while the Char de Transition wasn't even fielded during WWII. XD

We have flamethrowers on console. It's just a really fast firing gun that does around 15 damage a tick and it damages external modules really quickly. It's not very popular as the tanks that they are on are not very good. They are on some premium tanks and I think the only tech tree is the TVP VTU.

I got the CDT not long ago, my expectation were sooo loooooow but its actually a good tank with 212 standard pen and you can troll by just peaking your extra extra long tracks around the corner also frontal armor works well when angled

Depends on what gun. One gun uses HESH with about 150-250 m/s shell velocity while the other one uses a mortar rocket with 50 m/s velocity that goes about 100 meters at max elevation.

We DO have them on WoT Console. We do not have the Crocodile but an equivalent, the Churchill Oke, with a functionnal flamethrower. And one also on a tank that I would have never expected it, the TVP VTU, 'cause ... Why the F not ! At least it makes this tank fun instead of just being a card box. In fact we have a good number of tanks with additionnal guns functionnal. Mauschen/Maus 75 works, same for E100, Maubrescher ; M3 Lee 37 works ; The little gun on all the O-I line ... Are they good ? Not always. Are they fun ? Hell yeah, especially when you track people with HE, while your big gun reloads. 4:17 : About D-Day Tanks, sure those are cool looking ones ... But how about a Sherman with rocket launchers ?! On Console we have the (T34) Calliope, which is exactly what I described. The gun is the same than on the Tier V (while being at tier VI) ... But you can spam rockets like a maniac, which is super fun (and super deadly against paper tank). If it was on PC, I'm sure you'll love their meme potential 😁. _(for those wondering why I'm insisting on console version : one, I'm playing it since 2014 ; two, we have more meme tanks here that I'm sure some would love to try (multiples guns tanks, flamethrower ... And even missile launcher and machine gun tanks if you include the Cold War Mode with modern tanks)... However, we kinda have the same issues than on PC (on a maybe lesser extent), especially regarding balance)_

I think the Sherman tank that I can't even remember the name of cuz it's too long is definitely the best of the bunch with it's superior rate of fire and damage per minute! It's such a strong fearsome historical tank and I love it because I love Shermans, also don't check out my service record and my stats in it, don't do that! But trust me, it's a really good tank if you get into the right circumstances, trust me bro! Yeah, it's truly a beast! Also don't check my win rate.

​@@saesae1997 the low level one isn't seen very often due to how unpopulated low level games are. And tier 8 one... Cannot be penned frontally by anyone, except for JPE gold. Although roof is thin, center of mask isn't that protected and sides are made from cardboard. And it has range of only 150 m. And shoots in arty mode with poor trajectory. Its main purpose is to kill crew and stun a little. The damage is negligible, although paper armor tanks are VERY afraid of flames.
