do crossovers give you more volume than doubles or paradiddles? i used to think crossovers were done when people are avoiding doing a paradiddle or a double haha.

Doubles have an inherently lower maximum volume compared to singles (crossovers), because those two consecutive strokes with one hand have a lower maximum stick height compared to two singles
