I misquoted Alastair Begg in my comment re his message yesterday. He used the term "crossless Christian" I misquoted from memory and changed the termonoly to *uncrossed*. This would change the meaning (I'm guessing). I apologize for that. You've already been taken out of context too many times. God bless and knows your ministry will touch millions ××

Good day saints! Good message indeed by God's loyal servant and one the few good preachers of our day. Yes the current world system resists our Lord Jesus Christ and the consummation of His plan (Mat.24:3-8) and there is suffering for the church from the point of ascension until His return to consummate all things and transform creation itself. Our suffering fills up the these "birth-pains" (John 16:21-22) what is lacking is the sum total of tribulation that must occur before the new heaven and earth to come. It is part of what will usher in the new creation. Although we go through physical pain, broken and shattered relationships, financial difficulties and even ruin, that doesn't mean that we don't belong to God but quite the opposite. We look most like Him when wearing a crown of thorns but the glory to come will far surpass even the best that we can imagine.
