Yes please to more dragons playing active roles in games. I really hope the dragon dad doesn’t actually die :/ they’ve made mini comics of this so I have a feeling he won’t actually die-I hope. I also wish this was on PC so preservation could be easier. Second hand Physical games are going up in price. This game could be unobtainable in the future :(

Already preordered it. I'm so happy they decided to release a physical version in my country this time around. If they wouldn't go so extremely overpriced on ebay, I'd have imported "The Liar Princess and The Blind Prince" also physical. Loved that game lots for how much the art, music and story captured me. To people who are interested, said game was a platformer with a picture-book-esque aesthetic akin to how this RPG here looks. In it you guided a helpless character through various dangers but it was laid back and more focussed on simpler puzzles. The presentation made it very enjoyable and relaxing. That said, I already enjoy the character designs of the hero girl and the Dragon who seems to be their foster parent and just wishes to make their child the happiest possible by fulfilling their wish to going down into history as a hero. Hmm...perhaps has something to do with how they met that the Dragon wants to sacrifice their life if necessary. They probably carry a heavy guilt or something. Ah, I am already looking forward to this playable fairy tale.

Bought the blind prince and the liar princess on a whim when it came out cause i liked the art style. But it was a great game and the story was fun. "behind every children's song lies an ancient and savage truth". I kinda like their style cause its a nice take on that concept. Childishly idealist and simple to understand, yet emotionally brutal. Will get this one as well, i was pleasantly surprised last time.

I’m 7 hours into the game and so far i’m loving every single moment. Enemies spawn every 10-20 steps but you can either end their misery to gain exp or run away. Exploring every part of map pays off at the end, especially when you get gear. It also has nice little details to whats happening in-game so you’ll have a blast playing it. Chapter 4 as of yet and i’ve laughed anc cried so far. Yuu, our little heroine, is so adorable.

From what i understand, this is the story. The Cruel King and the Great Hero fought. The Cruel king lost (has a broken horn) and the Great Hero showed mercy. Perhaps the country didn't like the Great Hero not killing the Cruel King and attack him (the reason the Graet Hero is injured) The Great Hero ask the Cruel King to take care of the child (the Great Hero is dying). The Cruel King promise to take care of the child. The child likes the story of "The Curl King and the Great Hero" and wants to become a hero. The Cruel King wants to help the child and give support from the shadows. Know the consequence of helping the child (the child will defeat the Cruel King in order to become a hero).

@@strictlybananas You're absolutely right...but I hate how it feels to cry lol. This doesn't just apply to video games, but movies too. Have I seen Toy Story 3? Nope, and I likely never will. Because of some sad scene in it and it being about "growing up" or something. Sounds like something that'd make me cry, so no thanks lol. Disney movies and games like this really know how to pull on my heart strings. Which is great for them, but it's not for me. So I avoid them. What I may end up doing is buying this game for someone else to enjoy among my friends/family. Because I still would want to support the developers.
