Herbert is outstanding. He has all of the professional and personal qualities that makes him number 1 . And a memorable person. That's worth a lot for the company in repeat business. It wouldn't be my first choice of holiday but nice to see ppl enjoying themselves. Timothy needs tone it down a notch. Groups, large groups need to feel they're being treated seriously in professional manner. It's their cruise, not his!! LoL Sorry Timothy.. just my opinion. Good luck to all!

He's apologizing as an expression of sympathy to the inconvenience being experienced by the passenger. True, it's not his fault, nor the fault of Princess but as a matter of courtesy and sympathy.

Exactly. My luggage was lost by the airline. Holland America was amazing in finding it. Not once did I blame them. I realize this story isn’t about Hal before someone mentions it.

If you purchase airfare thru Princess there is an expectation Princess takes responsibility for it and in the event of flight delays etc you will be taken care of. Yes I know that makes no sense but it's the justification Princess gives for trying to sell you flights.

Sailed on the Regal. Was a great cruise. We have never had our flight to the ports ever go well. Not ONE has been a slide by & get there all calm. It's always wrong airport, late flights, slamming on the brakes just before take off & flying the day after the shooting in Ft Lauderdale. (that was the wrong airport one in TX). But when we get on board, it's all just a big sigh of relief & let's relax & be taken care of for the next 21 daya & get our SMILES on!💗💗

I no longer bring luggage. Just carry - on. As an Elite on Princess, I get free, unlimited laundry and dry cleaning, so I do laundry every 2 days. In place of a tuxedo, I bring a silk formal gown from China. Rolls up tiny. Thank you, Princess.

The representative of the company "at the end of the chain" so to speak is the one that has to do all the work to try and accommodate the passenger and to "right the wrong" that the customer (cruiser) has received. At this point, who caused the problem is not the point, the point is that the problem has occurred and it needs to be fixed. The cruiser needs to feel assured that the cruise line is doing everything they can to solve the problem that has occurred. That is done by keeping the passenger informed of what's going on and making sure that the cruise line is doing their all. Tom

Some passengers may have bought the airfare through the cruise line EZ air programme, The cruise line will always try to sort things out for their passengers.

@@twp3 Correct however lost luggage is a problem that has been prevalent for years, and any reasonable adult should be cognizant to the risks of flying and checking your luggage knowing you are embarking on a cruise. In the video some of them weren't even smart enough to being a carry on with a couple days clothes in them...that's not even close to smart. I always travel with a midsize carry on on all of my cruises. It's common sense..and should be for someone dropping $3,000 - $10,000 on a cruise.
