I currently have a Logitech G29 and I’ve pre ordered the premium version with everything and I’m well looking forward to it. I had intended to get a Fanatec wheel a while ago, when I eventually made my mind up to take the plunge for a more expensive wheel I was gutted to find Fanatec had stopped selling the CSL elite, now I’m really glad I never got one 👌

@@runofthemillz it comes with the GT wheel, but I’m probably going to get an F1 style wheel at a later date

If you get the load cell brake you don't need to add a clutch. The non load cell brake becomes your clutch.

I'm the third kind of viewer, i got a T500RS for 7 years, only PC user, and 2022 is the upgrade year for me ✌️😁 That CSL DD thing seems to be the best choice to keep the budget "reasonable" with high-end feeling ! Pedals will be from Heusvinkseveldingbling ... Yeah that company 🤣

But for people with Thrustmaster pedals, the Ricmotech Loadcell kit is a really nice addition if you can't afford better pedals. (A bit stiff, but you get used to it)

I was thinking to go with the cheapest option, i still can use the old load cell and then get the boosted kit and maybe the new load cell to replace all or wait to have more money and get the premium option right away.

All pretty solid options! Awesome thing is any of the other things you end up deciding you want, can all be bought on the shop. Just save a couple dollars if done in a pack 🙂

Yes! Whole different system in the way that it works. Direct drive is best of the best👍🏽 but it is a budget entry in the DD

this wheel rim is 200$ max ;d (quality is lacking but good number of buttons etc), still good value for dd

It’s even steeper than I expected in Aus! Even my TX alcantara is like $600 with no Led’s or digital gear display. Sim racing prices are crazy these days. Deal is still good I think and I hope others follow 👍🏽

@@piotrekf943 yup probably, Will from boosted media use to work for Sony and he did explain that Sony is super complicated to work and to provide their ship.

If they do the same as they did for the original CSL DD the second wave of preorders will open soon probably within a week after the first wave sells out. I bought the original CSL DD w boost kit and was one of the lucky ones that got mine several weeks before the original anticipated arrival date. Shame Sony bends their customers over forcing them to pay about $100 more for the exact same thing in the form of the Sony chip tax other platform users get for less. Not to mention forcing their customers to have to buy bundles that they really do not want if they want the Sony compatible DD wheelbase. Even the Sony compatible DD1 you can only buy it with the Formula wheel, you cannot buy a dd1 stand alone Sony PS compatible wb.

Yeah it’s a rough setup for sure! I’ve seen it mentioned here and there the single box and boost kit option will be available soon. I’m waiting to hit buy on that along with the V2 ive decided, because I want a formula wheel anyways
