I directed this video back in 91 for the band. It was a trip and we shotin the south of Spain. It was the first of 3 collaborations we did. this was a radical video which was censored all over Europe. U can see why, what was I thinkin.. Well I was a kid and Im proud of it, this video still holds up 15 years later.

Let's face it, the Cult changed their sound as the music scene changed. They did it multiple times. I prefer the Love and Dreamtime / Live At The Lyceum era stuff myself. But I still liked this album and Electric, Sonic Temple, Beyond Good And Evil and the Goat album too. It's all good rock n roll.

i haven't listened to this in a year but i did again today and i see where i was coming from. it definitely is similiar. not just because of the chords, but the whole ambiance of the song, the phrasing of the riffs, the instruments used. obviously different vocals w/ sebastian having more range and the cult using more vocals with resonance a from the gut tamber. oh, and i think its F#/B. just because i noticed that bands and genres borrow from each other doesn't make me naive.
