As an almost-professional proofreader (finishing up my Proofread Anywhere course), it is the fact that it's one big grammatical error (when used in the special Hun context) that gets me every time. Let's break it down. I am dedicating this explanation to everyone who has ever used this phrase unironically: 'I" is the subject, the one performing the action. They're the doer, so to speak; "retired" is the verb. Retire has two definitions: 1. to leave one's job and cease to work, typically upon reaching the normal age for leaving employment or 2. to withdraw to or from a particular place; "my husband" is the direct object of the verb. They are the recipient of the action being done by the subject. Therefore, "I retired my husband" actually means that these women have put their husbands out to pasture. The husbands have been retired bc they were no longer fulfilling their husbandly duties. Did these women do the hun version of Ol' Yeller and stuff them full of fizzy sticks, Shakeology, and those oh-so-edible essential oils? We will never know. Or perhaps they all mean to say, "I earn enough money from my pyramid-shaped cult to allow my husband to quit his corporate 9-5 cubicle job and do whatever he wants to do." I'm so sorry, this is an absolutely unnecessary novel of a comment. I guess I needed to rant it out and exorcize my frustration. Thanks for being that springboard! Apologies to everyone else who doesn't say this very silly phrase.

It’s about the way your body absorbs the product and exists in a state of ketosis. I drink the ketones and used to follow a ketogenic/LCHF diet for a few years (stopped during my first pregnancy because I only wanted carbs 😂) - I digress, intermittent fasting and short extended fasts are actually beneficial for your GI IF you’re in the right state to do it and don’t push yourself past your personal threshold. When you’re drinking the ketones, you are adding a type of fuel source & minimal calories in so you’re more or less just encouraging your body to flip into a state of deep ketosis and eat body fat and flush your cells.

I experienced this with an ex, I was perpetually in an apologetic/earning period. I was constantly apologising for every tiny thing (like not remembering his favourite cookies), and I was constantly having to “prove” that I was trustworthy or that I cared, etc. And I cannot remember a single time where he accepted an apology. He would say “sucks to suck”, or keep dragging out whatever transgression it was, or he would tell me to “be better”..it was awful..and tbh, JL is super triggering because she comes across sooooo similarly to him. I really hope people see the real her one day.

I think one of the saddest things about these women under Jessie Lee is the fact that they put so much trust and faith in her, that if one day they turn their back on her, she will cut them off so quick without sympathy about it or anything. And I really hope it never happens to them because that would be so shitty to feel that way.
@SmittenKitten.3 жыл бұрын
Girl, can you imagine being in a romantic relationship with Bosslee?? Ugh. Also, those women have seen some shit. If any of them ever got free, they could do the circuit telling everyone all the truth... I'd immediately buy a book written by them after they'd broken free of her grasp.

Bossy needs to give Chelsea a shout-out for the hair extension guidance! At least the bright ones appear to be within inches of her actual hair length this time 😬🤔🙄 and yes it is SOOOO creepy with all of her echo chamber clones there...

“Act before you feel” makes sense in relation to motivation (to some extent). Getting up and doing something, even if you don’t feel like it, will move you down the road towards your goals, vs sitting and waiting for motivation to come to you.

In a weird way, the ghost account is kind of smart, they are basically getting a second discount on their purchases because they're getting a check in return for buying under these accounts. But they're still wasting their money, so... it's still silly.

I love how you comment on how it's strange they have the same look.. when the one girls off camera I immediately thought "that's because the doesn't fit their aesthetic rn" seriously this whole thing they have going is SO dangerous for people with low self esteem and manic tendencies. IMAGINE you're in a manic episode and you've been struggling with your confidence/finances and friendships for months/years and this cult comes along and literally takes advantage of that. That's scary.

I dont think these women understand adult friendships. I am 25 now and have much more limited contact with my friends. I'm sure there are 20 or 30-somethings that still hang out with their friends every day but it is pretty rare. I still keep in close contact with all my friends (I would say I have 7 or 8 decently close friends) and make a concerted effort to call all of them once or twice a month. I might have a pizza night with my friends a few times a year. I might visit once or twice a year (for the friends not local). Also I have friends from many different workplaces, from volunteering, from college, from highschool. It is normal to drift from friends and be independent in your own life. Honestly, daily adult life isn't that interesting so I wouldn't really want to hang out and talk to my friends every day.

Jessie-Lee's predominant energy is someone who unironically quotes themselves and puts the quotes up with inspirational nature backdrops on social media. I would also like to know what's the point of grubby tape hair extensions? Everyone can tell?!

They definitely don’t retire to have fun. Like older ppl retire and can take it easy. You’re right, they “retire” AKA quit just so they can live/eat/breathe/drink the MLM more.
@imapisces03083 жыл бұрын
These MLM Huns don’t know the definition of retirement
@georgia23213 жыл бұрын
It’s just another way they make the whole family dependent on the MLM and make it impossible to leave. None of them are actually “retired” or anywhere near the position to be able to retire. It’s just another gross, abusive way of exerting control.

So basically they didn’t join pruvit because they believed in the products and used the products. They joined because they believed it was a better money making opportunity!!! They sold products to people probably giving testimonials about how amazing ketones are and they just admitted they thought ketones were a scam and it’s the one thing they wouldn’t sell. That’s insane they admitted and none of their customers call them out. This solidified it is absolutely a cult. Thanks for being the realist. Sending oodles of love
