This game is based of a table top rpg called Mutant Year 0. I recommend it. The animal mutants are introduced in the Genelab Alpha splatbook. (It's a standalone expansion, you don't strictly need the base book to play it). Mutant Year 0 includes the Zone which can be either customized or you can use a number of premade ones. While it's set in Scandinavia nothing stops you from making your own post apocalyptic version of your hometown. Genelab Alpha has a single premade zone though. Mutant as a franchise is a huge part of Swedish rpg history. Lots of nostalgia.

These fights just seem so automated, if you plan well there's no danger. Only if you're impatient will you get hurt, otherwise the "fights" seem so samey. So the starting enemies would be dispatched in a similar matter. Also the movement speed on the map felt too slow. I think without Pete playing it and making excellent edits, I would not even bother to watch this game

So your workaround is totally okay.

If anyone else is having an issue getting a crit at 3:58. have Dux equipped Alpinist and use Moth Wings for a 95% chance. I tried reloading the session for about 30 min and could never trigger the crit. If you did not get to time it correctly at 28:50. Just take out the Pyro. Wait for the med bot to got back into the building and hide Farrow on the side of the box truck for pretty much the same fight, just in two combat encounters. Good luck! Remember your safety saves!

Another great episode. I've since finished the game but it's still very enjoyable to watch your play through. It never crossed my mind to use mind control to reposition enemies and make them easier to kill. I only use mind control in situations in which the mind controlled enemy has some offensive value. Your idea is nice, though, and come to think of it, that's how I usually use mind control back then when I was playing the original XCOM games (the ones released in the 90s).

Dear Pete, for the next episode don't forget the two level 55 enemies you left on the first map of the game (the metal bird). You can hypnotize the lesser enemy for achievement, and you're more than equipped to take these out despite their level. There's a weapon crate too!

If you use super tendons to reach high ground then exit combat, your other party members will get warped up to the high ground too. You could even swap out mutants and have a whole team of people on the high ground who would have no way to reach it normally

Nice combos's and video mate it's clear you have spent some time in the game and know some combo's. I never taught that the two shot ability is any good but I was impresed in the way you managed to clean the house with it. One question on the grogg den have you encountered on the map a red thing that might suggest there is still an enemy but there is non actually?
