caramelldansen was a Swedish song that became popular on Japanese social media years after the group caramell separated but the caramell girl's took their place because of the meme

The version in the memes is also a nightcore remix.

I'm never not gonna associate Eurobeat with driving a car to its absolute limits. There really isn't a lot of genres that truely make you feel like you're flying. Even if you're doing the speed limit. Even the slower more ParaPara songs are able to fit so well. Someone once described it as "Passionate Speed" and it fits so well.

The YT algorithm is truly a man of culture. It doesn't fail to show me the videos that foster cultural awareness.

This is a broad topic but I think you made it comprehensive. I think we disagree on the definition of eurobeat, but that's fine. It can be endlessly debated lol. It is true that in the '80s, eurobeat was used as a blanket term to describe dance music that came from Europe. But eventually eurobeat became it's own genre, partially thanks to Avex and the Super Eurobeat series. When that started is also debatable lol. Anyway, nice video. I subscribed!

At first I didn't like Eurobeat, but then Initial D was so cool that I now love this style of music despite also being a Metalhead

I love eurobeat and this is probably the most summarized its history, I appreciate the effort! I just noticed please add somewhere epilepsy warning for some parts, not that it bothered me but some people might care.

1:26 Caramell is a group from Sweden with 2 males and 2 females. They have music videos of their songs. The rebrand is what you referenced and came 10 years later with the popularity of the "Speedycake" remix with the anime video. The record label (Remixed Records) went hard into that unofficial remix to collect money. Even rereleased Caramell's supergott album at 20% faster speeds. Now they are taking down Caramell and replacing it with Caramella Girls. Pretty disrespectful. It seems this video was mixing Eurodance and Eurobeat. Eurobeat came from Italodisco. Would have liked to hear about Sinclair style since he is active on KZbin talking about the creation of many classic songs.
