This is one of the tunes the chieftains did for the soundtrack of the 1990 treasure island. It's an excellent film with a truly incredible soundtrack (the main theme is even on the tin whistle!), most of which can be found on the chieftains film cuts. I watched it with my nan all the time as a kid, and it's what got me into the chieftains and Irish traditional music in general

It is around here and I've certainly heard it elsewhere - but it's all regional I suppose, some tunes are popular in some places, less so in others.
