@Monsieur Nicolas Hum a french nickname, no need to get tired. Sad Tragic World...

Acoustic music means nowhere to hide. Of course The Cure were built for acoustic greatness, because they are actual musicians, from a time when you simply could not be anything else! I'm 15 again and I LOVE it here, in this place, in this time. Timeless.

There is a CD you can get that was a limited edition of pretty much their greatest hits, but acoustic version. It was actually given away as a random prize by the band/label about 20 years ago. When I bought their greatest hits, i also got this album. I think from memory maybe 12 songs.

Come closer and see See into the trees Find the girl While you can Come closer and see See into the dark Just follow your eyes Just follow your eyes I hear her voice Calling my name The sound is deep In the dark I hear her voice And start to run Into the trees Into the trees Into the trees Suddenly I stop But I know it's too late I'm lost in a forest All alone The girl was never there It's always the same I'm running towards nothing Again and again and again and again... 🎵🎶🎵🎶 We move like caged tigers Oh, we couldn't get closer than this The way we walk The way we talk The way we stalk The way we kiss We slip through the streets While everyone sleeps Getting bigger and sleeker And wider and brighter We bite and scratch and scream all night Let's go and throw All the songs we know... Into the sea You and me All these years and no one heard I'll show you in spring It's a treacherous thing "We missed you", hissed the lovecats We're so wonderfully wonderfully wonderfully Wonderfully pretty! Oh you know that I'd do anything for you... We should have each other to tea huh? We should have each other with cream Then curl up by the fire And sleep for awhile It's the grooviest thing It's the perfect dream Into the sea You and me All these years and no one heard I'll show you in spring It's a treacherous thing "We missed you", hissed the lovecats We're so wonderfully wonderfully wonderfully Wonderfully pretty! You know that I'd do anything for you... We should have each other to dinner We should have each other with cream Then curl up in the fire Get up for awhile It's the grooviest thing It's the perfect dream Hand in hand Is the only way to land And always the right way round Not broken in pieces Like hated little meeces... How could we miss Someone as dumb as this? I love you... let's go... Oh... solid gold... How could we miss Someone as dumb as this? 🎵🎶🎵🎶 I've waited hours for this I've made myself so sick I wish I'd stayed asleep today I never thought that this day would end I never thought tonight could ever be This close to me Just try to see in the dark Just try to make it work To feel the fear before you're here I make the shapes come much too close I pull my eyes out Hold my breath and wait Until I shake But if I had your faith Then I could make it safe and clean If only I was sure That my head on the door Was a dream I've waited hours for this I've made myself so sick I wish I'd stayed asleep today I never thought that this day would end I never thought tonight could ever be This close to me But if I had your face Then I could make it safe and clean If only I was sure That my head on the door was a dream 🎵🎶🎵🎶 On candy stripe legs the Spiderman comes Softly through the shadow of the evening sun Stealing past the windows of the blissfully dead Looking for the victim shivering in bed Searching out fear in the gathering gloom and Suddenly A movement in the corner of the room And there is nothing I can do When I realize with fright That the Spiderman is having me for dinner tonight Quietly he laughs and shaking his head Creeps closer now Closer to the foot of the bed And softer than shadow and quicker than flies His arms are all around me and his tongue in my eyes Be still be calm be quiet now my precious boy Don't struggle like that or I will only love you more For it's much too late to get away or turn on the light The Spiderman is having you for dinner tonight And I feel like I'm being eaten By a thousand million shivering furry holes And I know that in the morning I will wake up In the shivering cold And the Spiderman is always hungry
