Same story... After 36+ years, my wife still considered this "our song" too. I can still remember when the song was released and dancing to it when we first met in the 87, playing it at our wedding in 90, and continuing to give each other a special smile to every time we've heard together since. Defintely a moment just like heaven. :)

Lyrics Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick The one that makes me scream she said The one that makes me laugh she said Threw her arms around my neck Show me how you do it and I'll promise you I'll promise that I'll run away with you, I'll run away with you Spinning on that dizzy edge Kissed her face and kissed her head Dreamed of all the different ways, I had to make her glow Why are you so far away she said Why won't you ever know that I'm in love with you? That I'm in love with you? You, soft and only, you lost and lonely You, strange as angels Dancing in the deepest oceans Twisting in the water You're just like a dream You're just like a dream Daylight licked me into shape I must have been asleep for days And moving lips to breathe her name I opened up my eyes And found myself alone, alone, alone above a raging sea That stole the only girl I loved and drowned her deep inside of me You soft and only You lost and lonely You just like heaven

This song reminds me of everything about the 80s the feelings I had when I was young growing up ... innocence happiness and joy ...It sums up how I felt freedom and happy ... great days... listening to Janice long in the evening weekends and thinking it doesn't get any cooler than this ...

I can always remember hearing this song for the first time. I was like 9 and my sister had the windows open in the house jamming at like 9 in the morning. I was freezing and I remember jumping out of the bed and racing down the hall to hear it. This song never gets old, and is just as beautiful as it was the morning I first heard it.
