This is one of the most poetic, mesmerizing and sad songs written by Robert. I love it.

La mejor y unica agrupación de todos los tiempos 1987 a 1989, junto a Perry posteriormente esa era la agrupación para siempre y de éxitos seguros

Thanks to all the Cure band members who learn much more than a single note that goes on and on but concerts that go on and on and playlists going on and on, by the greatest band ever. Thank you.

Unsurpassed. Of the few times they played it in 1989 (all with two verses) this one is the best.

@@georgetzimas1541 I mean he just repeated the lyrics, I'm not sure why he did it.

Cheers mate. The sound quality is surprisingly decent. It's one of my favourite songs from the Cure as well.

I remember when it appeared in my house one by one, record after record, no faces no image, an incredible big question mark; it seems as yesterday; Now, watching this is like I am 12years old all over again. Is absolutely fantastic; The Cure until 1987 and basically without some body and were the best, then all blew off; The entrance of Perry Bamonte started shaping again the band until 2000 that there were no burdens and they made the best record ever - Wallflowers - the maturity and the most incredible stuuf ever heard; I quit listenig oldies, and have reduced the daily playlist to them, Pink Floyd and a very few selections:::: Best oerfomances ;;; RAH 1986 and Paris 1992; WHO is leaving the cumbreads here? Why appear in KZbin all this stuff never dreamed to be watched? The world is different since I can see all the marbles, appearing litle by little,,,,

Why Simon chose to play the 3rd note of each bar one octave up in the reflection tour versions of the song is beyond me

As magical as the Prayer Tour was for me and it being the first concert I ever saw at a time when the Cure where near gods in my eyes, the truth of it is the NY Giant’s Stadium Aug 20th show was extremely bland as far as set lists go. In fact, there was very little deviation throughout the whole of the US leg of the tour with only the Great Woods, Mansfield show getting any real gems. Thankfully the 1992 and 1996 shows would bring out some stellar gems. Thankfully the band has since started including absolutely crackin rare tracks in their live set. Who would have ever believed Burn would become a set staple!? Or that songs like 2 Late and This Twilight Garden would make it to the live setting?

Meh. Songs of a Lost World tour didn’t really bring out many gems. Underwhelming set list all around, was cool to see them bring out ‘Hanging Garden’ and ‘A Thousand Hours’ at a few shows though

It wounds great.... and at least Simon played it correctly, unlike that travesty he did on the Reflections tour...
