Weird... over 25 years ago, I was in an 80s cover band that opened with this song, During out 1st break, Keanu came back to our green room. Now, decades later, I see this video of him playing that very same song... just feels...weird.

@@upon7even No, nothing like that. I'm just some guy from a cover band he met decades ago. I doubt he even remembers it. This was before the Matrix, but he was already famous. I wasn't then. Still ain't now, and did I mention it was decades ago? :) I don't know what this feeling is. I know it's nothing, but it's a strange feeling, nonetheless.

@@thenry3991 depending on whose stats you go by, 1964 can also be considered Gen X. I think being that knitpicky about a date defeats the idea of what Gen X is about. It's not just a year. It's an era, a feeling. And if you are going to use the date as a way of determining who can and can't play Gen X music, that eliminates half the bands out there because a lot of them were comprised of people born in the early 1960s. Would you say Chris Cornell was not an influence on Gen X? Tori Amos? Red Hot Chili Peppers? I think you missed the point of the original comment.

Keanu recently was in Croatia having a concert. 2 bad i missed it i was 20 km in near city. He was sitting outside on the floor @ the Westin Hotel lot of people didn't recognize him they thought he was some homeless man. Such a humble guy. Much respect

They didn't recognize him because he's not self absorbed like most celebrities are. He doesn't walk around with 2-3 bodyguards to draw attention to himself like they do. He doesn't feel the need to wear Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton clothes so people can say "Wow, he wears expensive clothes!" He doesn't rent Ferraris and Lamborghinis then drive up to a hotel so people can see him getting out of an expensive car. He's not loud when he speaks to people and doesn't talk down to them. All these other entertainers want the attention and want to be noticed. He's just a nice guy all around. He's come far from his days as Bill in Bill & Ted's 1990 movie. He even donated a big percentage of his Matrix film.
