Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick The one that makes me scream", she said "The one that makes me laugh", she said And threw her arms around my neck Show me how you do it And I promise you, I promise that I'll run away with you I'll run away with you Spinning on that dizzy edge Kissed her face and kissed her head Dreamed of all the different ways I had to make her glow "Why are you so far away?", she said "Why won't you ever know that I'm in love with you That I'm in love with you?" You Soft and only You Lost and lonely You Strange as angels Dancing in the deepest oceans Twisting in the water You're just like a dream You're just like a dream Daylight licked me into shape I must've been asleep for days And moving lips to breathe her name I opened up my eyes And found myself alone, alone Alone above a raging sea That stole the only girl I loved And drowned her deep inside of me You Soft and lonely You Lost and lonely You Just like heaven

Where would the guitarists trying to learn guitar on youtube be without marty he is the best teacher on youtube
@billtravis5234 ай бұрын
Marty - you're the best! I was looking up this tune to see if I could figure some of it out (now that I'm through Lesson 3 in your Electric Guitar YT series and am practicing far more than 5 mins/day. But here you are teaching it. Yay! Now I'm really stoked for tomorrow's lesson session to get to work on this. It'll be over my head, but keeps me motivated and having fun...because "It's guitar", right? Your singing along with the notes brings joy too. When I'm finding a note which I intend to play, vocalizing that sound aloud keeps me from getting lost on the fretboard. Complicated, but satisfying.

@truckercowboyed26382 жыл бұрын
I actually learned this song by ear, especially the cool lead part that plays with the piano.....
@The_Timinator2 жыл бұрын
The fun part of the Cure is, their Music goes from Simple to Complex from Song to Song, Robert's song writing and voice really set their music apart from everybody else, I heard them for the first time in '79, I was a Zeppelin Fan in High School, but I also had all the Steely Dan albums. Van Halen was a Local Band and they were HUGE too. My Buddy's and I were cutting class this day, and we stopped at the Asian Market and everybody gave me the Money to go buy the beer,Colt 45 Malt Liquor in Qt. Bottles, I got the beer and we headed off to a "New Guy's" house to party, he had the "Greg Brady" Cool Guy bedroom in the Garage.. we started drinkin' and Smokin' and after we has passed the Bong around numerous times, he turned on his stereo, his older brother that was in College left this 45 of some band out of England on the turntable "Jumpin' someone else's Train" ...we all freaked out how intense that song was plus the drum solo sounding like a train rolling over the sections of rails...then we flipped the 45 over and other side was the Original issue of I'm Cold... we were all blown away again , 6 guys that NEVER would have bought this 45 EVER, and we ALL became HUGE Cure fans after hearing it, every one of us today still Dig on the Cure.

I really need help as I don't want to give up trying to learn guitar, but without someone to help I just may have to. My problem is that I have small hands. As IamMorrison says if you don't have our tiny sized hands you just can't relate. So a C-Chord is doable for me on 25.5in scale guitar but getting to a different chord is a struggle. Not a serious problem I am just bringing that up. Where my problem lies is my wrist to the tip of my longest finger is 6.5 inches. Hard to make chords. Now here is the one that made me quit for six months as I was in 24x7 pain with a loss of mobility and that is I cannot get calluses. It is a hereditary issue as they begin to grow, and I go to bed one day to wake up to baby soft fingertips again where everything is painful. SO painful that I do bad things, subconsciously, to stop the pain and it hurts my wrist and thumb joints. How can I play the guitar without calluses? I ask because with them the notes ring out more, but when they go back to soft the strings around the touching fingers are dead due to the pudge caused my a soft pressing onto a hard. I do not have Gorilla grip/Kung-Fu death grip as I work hard to not.
