Love this album. Weird eccentric psycadelic and fucking brilliant.

Tremendous song, this album is the nearest that you will get to a Robert Smith solo album, he played everything bar the drums, brilliant stuff indeed

Surely, you’re referring to the song ‘Charlotte Sometimes’?
@aidancross9756 Жыл бұрын
@@SK-sm9mn No, this song also takes its inspiration from Penelope Farmer's book. The line "Stiff as toys but tall as men" comes from the book Charlotte Sometimes, as does the title.

Stiff as toys and tall as men, swaying like the wind-torn trees She talked about the empty world, with eyes like poison birds She talked about the armies, that marched inside her head And how they made her dreams go bad, but oh how happy she was, How proud she was to be fighting in the war In the empty world Stiff as toys and tall as men, swaying like the wind-torn trees She talked about the empty world, with eyes like poison birds

Who wrote that. One of the best. Obviously someone that has no clue about the cure. Empty world. Piggy in the mirror. Epic album with Andy on drums.

Thank you Andy. You brought a whole new sound to the cure. Go in peace. “Hi guy’s, I am and I have Terminal 4 Cancer, and their is no way of returning back from that, it’s totally covering the inside of my body, and I’m totally fine and aware of my situation,” Anderson wrote in a Facebook post. “I’ve gone for a no resuscitation, with that, I have a next of kin, in place and there is no way I would want them to be looking me as a vegetable. “Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy will be discussed over the next few days, hopefully I’ll be able to get back to get to you in the next few days about the outcome,” he continued. “And please, no boohooing, here, just be positive, for me it’s just another life experience and hurdle, that one has to make yet another choice in life, be cool, I most definitely am and positive about the situation.”

Rígidos como juguetes y altos como hombres, balanceándose como los árboles desgarrados por el viento Stiff as toys and tall as men, swaying like the wind-torn trees Ella habló sobre el mundo vacío, con ojos como pájaros venenosos She talked about the empty world, with eyes like poison birds Hablaba de los ejércitos, que marchaban dentro de su cabeza She talked about the armies, that marched inside her head Y como hicieron que sus sueños se estropearan, pero ay que feliz era, And how they made her dreams go bad, but oh how happy she was, Que orgullosa estaba de estar peleando en la guerra How proud she was to be fighting in the war en el mundo vacio In the empty world Rígidos como juguetes y altos como hombres, balanceándose como los árboles desgarrados por el viento Stiff as toys and tall as men, swaying like the wind-torn trees Ella habló sobre el mundo vacío, con ojos como pájaros venenosos She talked about the empty world, with eyes like poison birds

Why do you do it do you act like you?... no pelees Don't fight Ir rojo y azul y blanco y negro Go red and blue and black and white vender esto vender esto Sell this sell this ¿O dejarlo sin sentido como chupar un arma?
