LaMelo ball is exactly the kind of player you DON'T want to build around... Very good player, but definitely not the guy that will lead a team to trophies, he's just too immature and unserious, both in term of personality and playstyle.

I think if Lamelo had gone to Warrior when drafted instead of Wiseman, he would of had vets that would of shown him discipline. In the alternative I don't think the Warriors would of let him play that much or get that experience to achieve ROTY and all-star selection. The smaller market was the best option. Signing vets would be amazing and other top 3 to 7 recent drafted player in the last 5 years join hornets would be amazing to add too. Lamelo can be that guy like Steph were the market isn't great rn, but later on will be so big in the future.

He’s still 22 bro if charlotte can get a disciplined vet to help him mature some it’s def possibly to build around a 22-24 year old most players are getting drafted at like 20-22 he came in at 19 so of course he gon be a little cocky but think about it this time off could of humbled him a little he may come back with a better mindset we just gotta wait and see

Leadership problem would get solved instantly with draymond and Steph, while learning a lot from steph himself being a smaller guard as well as the ankle injury problems. You said it perfect, if Lamelo just finds a way to stay healthy, all the stuff off the court isn't a concern at all to me! Better PT and stretching combined with working out and a good Dr and diet go a long way. Hopefully the hornets are on it tho! Also wld love to se the hornets add a Vet for leadership that's a really good idea! That's the one thing we lackin now really! Or atleast the biggest key!

How bias the author sounds against Lavar. Bro, if it wasn't for him and his decisions while raising his children they wouldn't be where they are. He is the one who deserves the most credit if them all. Why? Because putting the work is one thing, but knowing where and how to put in the work is key. Stop being so cry baby and feeding what the media tells you: ", everyone hated Lavar". I don't remember that was the case, specially after the Cristine Leahy incident.

None of them are good enough to coast on his talent, much less their own. You can't tell me that team wouldn't win more with some discipline. They might not necessarily be a winning team without him, but some discipline and him healthy? They wouldn't be losers collecting checks wondering what playoffs are like.
