Thanks for uploading this, it was very interesting. While the presenter and her "excitement" about death is a little cringe (especially the unnecessary dummy) and her conversations feel over-scripted as well as too self-congratulatory for my liking, the history behind it is utterly heartbreaking... I'm just learning about the Mackay-Bennett and the recovery of Titanic victims bodies and it is very sad to discover this story of an Unknown Child whose tiny body touched the hearts of the crew who found him in the sea. It is good that the child has finally been identified, but also sad that the Finnish family were wrongly informed that it was their ancestor's boy only to have that news snatched away a few years later. It is painful to think about the 61 children under the age of 14 who died during the sinking, easily some of the most vulnerable passengers aboard who should have been put aboard the lifeboats.

Of the 1523 victims, only 105 were women and 61 were children.

@@ShadrakJohn Yes. Though, tbh, I think even without the "women and children" rule, most men of that era would likely have insisted that their wives and children go first, given the limited lifeboat space. More men were always going to die, regardless, since there were almost twice as many male passengers and 97% of the crew were male. Given how all the engineers and most electricians sacrificed themselves to keep Titanic afloat longer in hopes of a rescue, it's not hard to see that a lot of the men onboard had a great sense of honour and duty, not only to their families and friends, but to complete strangers whose lives they saved as a result of their bravery.

@@MarcusBritish And of all the more than 300 bodies that were recovered, only 19 were women and 3 were children (all boys).
