There is a verified Viking settlement in Newfoundland, which is not too far from Oak Island. This was definitely before Christopher Columbus 1492. Love to see the Oak Island team go there for research. I know they went to Newfoundland once, but I don't think they visited that site. Love seeing them telling the history of my country, Canada.

Francis Bacon, William Shakespeare, Solomon's treasures, there are a lot of their temporary theories that you missed. This one is extra funny since they are claiming now that at the end of the Knights Templar Era, they basically Hired the Vikings to bring their treasure to Oak island. But they somehow forget to mention that the Viking Era ended over 300 years before the Knights Templar fled Europe. LOL

In order it was a Royal Arch Masonic story first about the coming end times, then it was a Kidd story, then it was a vault of Tudor documents story. In the 20th century it was every imagined treasure story that one could plug in that has been written about. Nothing has ever changed with the motivations of the fantasy writers. Rick came to OI with his preferred theory, and all the dancing around with foolishness has been about trying to make it seem that his was the most plausible. What we are likely dealing with is what it started as: a Masonic exploitation of a Hebrew stories which they were promoting in order to foster an interest and study in them. This has always been the approach of Freemasonry. The OI story was pretty well debunked in 1847 if you ask me. We will never get presented with that critical commentary by the people who refuse to be their worst critics and who would rather paly the suggestion game that values opinion more than anything.

6:57 - Huginn and Muninn... And yes, Rick, the northern people (often Vikings and their descendants, Danes, Swedes and Norwegians) had mastery of the seas and oceans, long before 1200 CE. In 449 CE, Jutes rowed their keel ships to Britain to found England and they even got up to the Orkneys. These groups had been building boats and ships for a very long time before this. The Hjortspring boat is one surviving example, from Denmark, dated to around 350 BCE. The story of the coastal North Sea Proto-Germanic-Scandinavians begins around 1700 BCE when R-L48 groups went into Scandinavia, likely by invitation. It's all R-L48: the language, the story of Odin, farming, metalsmithing, warriorship, etc.

I'm just kind of wondering, have you studied any of the people who are chasing the people, who supposedly buried the treasure? But do they have any notes or log books or books or anything like that? Maybe you'll find a clue about who they were chasing and where they we're going, perhaps they will lead you to the treasure, are there log books from anyone else? The people who are chasing the people with the treasure? I know it sounds weird...

Regarding the possible Knights Templar connection at Oak Island, this TV show does not mention the following: Back in the 1960's when the causeway was being constructed, a bulldozer operator who was moving dirt from the island's surface to create the fill/base for said causeway discovered by chance two silver coins in the dirt. Unfortunately the coins, like many other Oak Island artifacts that have mysteriously disappeared over the years, were secretly taken from Oak Island. The two coins were later examined and were found to be made of silver and both were dated from the 12th century (the 1100's). What was interesting about the two silver coins is that they each contained an image on the obverse which was from two different periods (i.e. regimes/reigns) which would indicate that the two coins made their way to Oak Island on two separate voyages at different times. The dates of the coins tie in with everything else the team are discovering at Oak Island dating from the 1100's time period. As for Nolan's Cross, it was not constructed to be seen or noticed on the ground. It was constructed with the various large boulders on such a grand scale to be seen from the heavens. Keep in mind that back in the Medieval Period/Middle Ages Catholics (Christians) believed that God and Heaven was up in the sky beyond the clouds and Nolan's Cross was constructed large enough in order for it to be seen from Heaven--- kind of like a 12th-century perpetual "beacon" to be seen from above. I sincerely hope that the team et al can solve the "Who", "What", "When", "Where", "How" and "WHY" of the Oak Island mystery.

think of vinland in the sagas, which is said to be coastal Maine to NY, Martha's vineyard ,oak island on the path too get there by open alantic coast , especially if your hugging the coast for protection you enter mayhone bay ,or that the path between scoudouc river (shediac )and memroncook river (sheperdybay )are less then 1km apart at the narrowest point and on less then 50ft elevation difference , the viking could of easily of portaged between norrtermblern straight and fundy basian then new minas overland to new ross , travel by water routes are not just a summer thing , boats such as the long boats could easily have travailed over ice and snow covered landscape, cutting days or weeks of a journey so easy to dismiss this form of travel today , but a land with out roads leaves water and portages the map becomes very different with out roads, vikings and Templar travelled and settled the same lands for the same reasons in europe , it would not be hard to suggest there a DNA link between them in the -past thus getting your cousins to hide you and spirit you and your plunder away is a easy link too , money talks when you have a price on your heads

Maybe it is because the Norwegian Vikings who came to North America at the end of the 10th Century sailed from Greenland. We know that the settlments in Greenland died out at the end of the 13th Century. There was no connection anymore westwards. Thor Heyerdahl wrote in his last book that it is possible that there was a Norwegian presence for 200-250 years in North-America.
