I found your channel by chance a few weeks ago, and I've been binge-watching past episodes. I grew up watching your Pops (and Jimmy Houston), Scott. My own father loved to fish, and for my 30th birthday, my father took me on a fishing trip to Lake Fork with a friend of his who was a guide there. It was a glorious day spent with my Daddy, doing something we both loved at a lake filled with fantastic fish. Admittedly, I didn't catch anything (oh well), but my dad and the guide caught some gorgeous bass. I'm 56 years old now, and haven't fished in many decades. My Daddy is in his 80s now and his fishing days are over, sadly, thanks to the beginnings of dementia. But I treasure my memories of fishing with my Daddy and the time we spent together. I can't wait for the tournament at Lake Fork! Maybe I'll try to make it out there for one of the days (I live in the Dallas area). God bless you, Scott. I'm so happy I found your channel and can experience the love of fishing again through your videos.

I could see that you were upset Scott, and I would’ve been upset too. I hate that things didn’t go your way on day 3, but seeing ALL those young guys and fisherman coming straight to your boat when you got back, because YOU are the reason that they were there, you’ve got a lot of people into this sport and get people excited about fishing everyday. You’re winning everyday in my book brother. Keep up the great work!

You're so right! I've had the privilege of being at several tournaments, including a classic. I even marshalled once. (That was enough cause it's hard to not fish!) Some of the guys I really liked are just sore losers! I see em all jolly on camera winning but when they're down they're just jerks! It's good to see people like Scott in the sport. I don't buy products with the "winners" face on it. I buy the one with the face of a good sport on it.

Best of fishing to you Scott, been watching a long time. You and your dad are genuine fishermen in the industry. Both of you share your knowledge with the average fishermen, tournament fishers and the everyday fishermen for the enjoyment of just trying to out smart the green sides. Hang in there Scott your days are coming and you will bring home the trophy your dad fished long and hard for many years. By the way, McCoy needs a raise! Awesome videos and the music right on! Scott, as you already know, Sabine river, that close to the gulf is a major pain to fish. Not only are you fighting little to no cover to hold fish, no major underwater shelving, now you get to fight tidal response from the fish. It's all good, that was yesterday, Lake Fork is a major bass fishery, Good luck and keep having fun.

Thanks for the composure pep talk. Bass fishing is my nfl, nba, and nascar. Specifically, B.A.S.S. elite series is pretty much the only sport I keep up with. I've been to a handful of the tournaments and met all the pros I've "fan boy'd" over. There are some I refuse to look at anymore because they lack composure. If their face is on the craws I want I'll get a different brand. Everyone's gonna have a bad day but I'm not an ass to people who look up to me. Anyway, I look forward to getting my lucky hat signed by ya one day. Thanks for the videos. 👍
