@@eeen4119 You're not wrong, however, I think in this circumstance, for those of us who are long time subscribers, we know that he already values her for her smarts, creative talents, parenting skills, and business sense. She has been open about being plagued by debilitating migraines, so when Joey acknowledges how pretty she looks, I think there's more to it then being superficial.

YAY!! You were in my state, North Carolina! I love the new items you've produced; especially the metal pieces! I, too, think the open floor plan is truly challenging for the average homeowner. I want to be able to shield my guests from the the meal prep and kitchen clutter that occurs when I cook! And open floor plan means you and your partner have to be in synch with TV on or music on! Love that you are including room/functional boundaries in your re-design of the open floor plan! Woo Hoo! Love that you have a purpose in mind for all the items in your office storage cupboards!

Kate mentioned a small island and extra storage for Morgan's apartment. Why not add a bar top and make the kitchen almost galley style and the counter ledge is curvy. Renter friendly if they diy this on top of old bookcase/kallax shelves. With backerboard and the checkerboard wallpaper to continue the pattern. Maybe that's a bad idea but idk.
