Thank you for your willingness to serve the Lord for two years. The young missionaries have blessed my life with the true gospel. They knocked our door in 1974 in Indonesia. Now we live in the USA, traditions continue, my kids served their missions as well. So I know the feelings of letting them go and meeting them in the airport. Thank God and thy servants. Keep the faith young men, your journeys are just starting.

All of the returning missionary videos are awesome but this one is absolutely amazing! I love how you’re able to see it from the missionary perspective! So cool! Welcome home even though you’ve been back for a year already 😊❤️ Definitely cried my eyes out!

Thank you for your service Elder and welcome back to the rest of your life. As a recent convert who is unable to serve due to mental health, I watch mission calls and homecoming and absolutely bawl - a little of personal anguish but mostly of joy for able persons serving the Lord and helping those who need Him most. What makes me happy is that you have returned to family, your eternal family. Also, when you touched the outside of the plane for luck, I know to do it too. I was shown how to do that by the family on KZbin who introduced me to the Gospel I am now a part of. That was a moment that just made me happy. Sorry for the ramble, and welcome back.

Great video. I love the dual homecoming story and how it dove-tails together at the end. It inspired me to make a similar style video for my son's homecoming. Thank you. Also...I too served in Argentina. Great mission area.

Great homecoming. Mine was not like this at all. I wonder what the missionary homecoming were back during the early days of the church? Probably: a short hug and then Pa would immediately say, "...I need you to start repairing the lower pasture fence, son..." ha ha

Being a missionary is a great responsibility! The missionary must have great energy, fortitude and courage. Wherever the missionary goes, in whatever part of the world he is in, he must spread the Word. The local people must understand what the missionary is saying to them. The missionary must get the Word right to the people! Therefore, every missionary must know the language of the local people! To everyone who is going on a mission or preparing for one I would like to recommend a very good workshop by Yuriy Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language. This excellent book will give you answers how to correctly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort. This book answers many of the questions that everyone faces when learning a language. Good luck with your important work!
