I Put in long hours at work yesterday first thing when I got off went and watched this video wanted to see the reunion. Wow Jed what a amazing homecoming you had. I got teary eyed watching. Your one amazing young man the love you have for your niece & nephews. I have a new light watching. I used to get annoyed when the missionaries came knocking I was either sleeping 😴 from a long shift got woken up with the knock on the door. Might not of been very friendly. Now when I see a young missionary I will be more friendly and reach out. You guys are doing great things spreading Gods word and serving others. Being away from family for 2 years has to be hard. Thank you Jed for serving. Thank you Cody @ Makenzie Moffats for sharing so we can all watch. I have watched since day one. I have laughed with you guys and have cried especially seeing Makenzie so sick. Your family is so encouraging and inspiring.

Hey, great question! They sacrifice everything for two years to selflessly serve others. Being with family, friends, going to school, any job or career. You don’t get paid, it’s 100% service. We talk a little bit more about it in the video that will be posted tomorrow💛

They get called to an area of the world to share the gospel of Christ with anyone that will listen to the good news. They do a lot of service while they are there and it's an amazing way to meet new people, experience cultures and let go of selfish desires for a time. When they return home, they jump back into work, school and social life. But, the time on a mission is about giving to others, because we have been so blessed.
