custom troops should have been a feature from day one, the engine clearly allows it and people have been asking for it since warband.

True, though it needs some serious balancing, the simple fact your recruits can have shields instantly makes them OP compared to the rest, not to mention you can make your faction specialize in everything. Though it is a single player mod so everyone has a different way to enjoy it, but giving legitimate goals to reach ingame through maybe a smithing/workshop combo to make the gear you want sounds a lot better.

@@aonirsplayground6224 you can balance your troops with the amount of money it costs to recruit and the amount of upkeep you have to pay. the better the equipment, the more expensive it gets. so if you want mounted knights with the best horses and equipment/armor available your are going to have to fork over, i dunno 20 or 30k per knight just to recruit them and another 3 or 4k for upkeep every week. and you can just lock out shields for recruits, and the further you go down your troop tree, more equipment will be unlocked for you to use in cutomizing units.

I like the idea, but what I would really like to see is then fleshing out the "Create your own kingdom and Culture" aspect. While I can understand culturally it taking time to create a new culture, having lords in ragged bear pelts rub shoulders with lord in fine silk garb just looks.... off to me. I personally like the way Warband diplomacy mod handled that aspect.

You don't need to cheat the money in you can just edit the config files to make the armor drastically reduced. However, I would put it at .1 and not 0 so you can still use the money to sort the inventory lists.

So I downloaded all 3 of the mods in the description and the custom troop mod works just fine, but the one where you can select custom culture when you make a kingdom doesn't seem to be working for me. I downloaded it, extracted it and put it into the modules of Bannerlord like all mods but it isn't working or showing up when I create a kingdom all I see for culture is Empire. Anyone have any idea why or am I doing it wrong.

Had the same issue too. I had to mess around with the load order for it to work. My issue now is everything pops up fine , but everytime I try to edit the equipment , the game just crashes .. smh. Doesn't seem like anyone has the answers for that so far .. 😕

@@parkngutz8511 I fixed it today and for me issue was new 1.5.10 version of custom troops mod. Just download 1.5.9 version and everything works good. But in the other way changing cluture mod is not working so if anyone know how to solve it feel free to tell us :) (hour later) I found "Change Settelment Cluture" mod and it works :)

That brazier in the loading screen next to wooden wall is a fire hazard. You're supposed to put stuff like that where there are no flammable objects. Immersion breaking. I have not yet watched the video.
