I had been avoiding clicking these for a while because I thought it would just be some dude reading off tcrf without explaining anything (didn't understand how there would be so many videos). Clearly, I was mistaken. One thing I'd like to add, though, is that you should try to find a commentary style that fits your voice. The course "Draw_Demo"'s filename (well, "Draw_Demo.szs") follows the filename trend of used files, such as Winningrun_demo and Loser_Demo (or Lose_Demo/Losing_Demo, can't remember). These are the courses used when mario wins/loses a GP (and gets cut to the awards scene), respectively. This suggests that Draw_Demo would be used when the game is a draw/tie, though its exact purpose is unknown. In the final game, if there was a tie, it would give the edge to Player 1, then P2, then P3, then P4, then CPU1, then CPU2, and so on.

An early icon for Koopa Cape accidently used the Wario's Gold Mine version of the Mario Kart banner 4. Early mode of the Quacker bike 5. Early modes of the baby princess crying animation with there crowns moving 6. Early animation for Luigi 7. The original icon for the BEST Rainbow Road show the awesome Launch Star being blue instead of rainbow

The mission tracks were used. However, not anymore since Nintendo WFC shut down. Each mission was assigned to all players in each month and players could try to beat their high score similar to time trials. I remember fondly playing these missions and trying to compete against other players highscore from across the globe.

I dumped a few textures and images with Dolphin. I found a few images that were different from the icons when selecting your character, but they weren't too far off. The regular icons show a side view of the character heads, and the image resolutions are 64x64. The other icons show the characters looking forward, and the image resolutions are 32x32. I don't know where they are used, or if they are used. Edit: I'm an idiot. They're used on the minimap :/
