Well you have to take in consideration the other episodes of this series. Mario Odyssey didn’t change a lot since it was first revealed so it was probably harder to make this episode than other ones since this one seemed to be more of a spot the difference than seeing what was actually removed from the game or added.

I love how pretty much every scene in the final game that involved Cappy that also happened to be shown in the original reveal trailer completely ignored the fact that Cappy was even going to be a thing. They really wanted that whole mechanic to be kept secret until they felt it was a good time to reveal it.

I think a lot of the changes (only Mario being visible in the Odyssey vs with Cappy, for example) were to streamline the experience of the trailer and remove unnecessary distractions. It’s also possible that the trailer was designed to be shown before the reveal of Cappy (or the reveal would take place during the trailer), so the animations were changed to avoid showing him before his time. When they decided to show Cappy in the first trailer instead, a few scenes were added to this one since he became Odyssey’s icon so people would wonder if he didn’t show up in the new trailer - but the scenes without him weren’t changed because of time constraints or something. That’s all speculation, but I think it makes more sense than Cappy, Mario’s main companion in this game, being left out of some of the game’s major cutscenes at first.

I think a very interesting difference is the Luncheon Kingdom. What they show us is a much more confined version in the initial reveal trailer, another thing is the Odyssey seems to have muc less of its sail implying you went there much earlier than before in the original game.

Nice ideas! Splatoon and Pikmin are already on my list! People have been asking for a Cuphead episode so I will have to do a bit of research first. Toby Fox left a message in the Undertale game files saying that people shouldn't share the secrets hidden in Undertale's files. Upcoming games are pretty hard to do as there *usually* isn't much information about them at the time of making the video (this episode was an exception). Finally, Beta64 already did Mario 64 and I don't think I'll be able to top his work. Something new may have been found for it though, so I'll have to check it out! Thanks so much for the suggestions!
