no what i don’t understand is, i know your intentions are for cats to get rescued and the video is just about the cutest breeds. a rescue has a breed too. those finding to adopt and rescue, they might want to have a cat which fits their taste and preferences. of course, you can say, “why choose when you’re rescuing?” because it’s all people’s preferences and opinions, just like how you chose your wife/husband or how you decided to be in a relationship with a guy/girl.

MusetheBOXHEAD A rescue doesn’t have to have a breed, if it does then it will get adopted very very quickly. If you consider American shorthair a breed, then yes every cat has a breed. If you don’t, then most cats in need of rescuing do not have a breed. Ones that aren’t anything expensive or young or unique , often get forgotten about. I do get it if you have an allergy, but if you want a cat that’s gentle, you go to your local shelter, and meet cats and find out about the personalities to see if they’re what you’re looking for. I suppose you can buy a main coon, but that main coon will have a good life, almost inevitably, because everyone’s thinking the same thing you are. (this isn’t to start a fight or to dis you)

THE SOMALI CAT FOR SURE Somali cats are cats from Somalia that are heavily similar to the Abyssinian cat but is the longhaired version. What makes the cat beautiful is its fur colours which range but the common is orange! It's nickname is fox cat due to how similar it looks to foxes but don't worry these cats are active and very loving and social.
