There was nothing wrong with what Shay said to Sontard in the car. He was teaching him about consent. Yes he looked a little uncomfortable but only because he didn't think about how uncomfortable he could of made the little girl. It's an extremely important subject matter and I think that conversation was necessary and handled very well. Once again I'm so impressed by yours and Mommytards parenting, Shay :)

No, that is how it should be. It should not be a double standard for your children. Because if it were the girls kissing boys, he would say the same thing. You cannot treat your kids differently when it comes to things like this. Not to mention, he was 100% right when he said "what if she didn't want to be kissed?". Boys need to learn at a young age that they do not have the right to do what they want to girls. I think this was sontard's lesson.

I have a different perspective now. All the sacrifices that Logan makes just so he can spread a message that he has faith in is remarkable. Even if the message is wrong, that commitment is amazing. Perhaps, I'll go on an Islamic mission or something because I too have strong faith in my religion.

p00ner1sm I didn't. I said there was a possibility, that's all. My belief is not that ludicrous when you study it. Islam has the Quran which is so powerful and the content quite incredible. I don't know of any book that's retained in its original language word for word like the Quran and which is also memorized completely by heart by millions.

p00ner1sm The Bible and the Torah if I'm correct only exist in translations today. The language in which it was revealed, that scripture doesn't exist in its entirety. Also, I don't know of anyone that has memorized all the words of the Bible and Torah and I don't know if that is at all practiced. Perhaps it is. There is proof, perhaps not strong enough but enough to make you wonder and perhaps have faith. We could ask ourselves relevant questions like why do 3 religions that started separately preach similar ideas and talk about the same people. We could look at historic accounts because there's quite a bit in history. Essentially it is based on faith but that faith could be based on other people's faith.
