I played through Observer in one sitting while I haven't slept 3 days. The sleep depravation made the audio and visual glitches way more intense. I only planed to check the first minutes from the game when I started but I couldn't stop. A unique and very stressful gaming experience. Might have shortened my lifespan a little but I say it was worth it

Gotta say in the past with other creators like over on Channel Awesome, where they have tried pulling off ongoing sub-stories with characters that are just themselves wearing a different hat, I have just skipped past those. But with that massive Philip K Dick style perspective reality twist? What a cliffhanger! I have a nice chunky back catalog to work through but when I finally get back to the Avatar video, I foresee yours been the type of high quality, long form production that we are looking forward to for a time while you cook, then first pump with glee when it finally drops! You gotta love the irony of a guy whose parents were body purists, creating a means of digitizing a human consciousness, a soul, it's the ultimate blasphemy. Because augmentation would've saved his mom, he saw nothing wrong with it. Deep down, he probably just wanted to spare other people from losing their loved ones. His motivation makes sense, everything in this game makes sense, even when it doesn't. The writing is fecking amazing. *Now why tf can't Disney get this sht right??*

I remember 3 or so years ago when you were working on your first video and tho it didn't get many views, it was still a fantastic viewing experience. nowadays you're getting up there making content that rivals the best in the long form content genre (I'd know cuz that's all I watch on KZbin), all you need now is some love from that dumbass algorithm and you'll be set. I knew of this game only because its by a polish developer and while listening to this I started laughing at the basement section with fourty and four. It is a refrence to the Mickiewicz novel "Dziady" and basically it is showed as the name of the upcoming savior. So honestly it really did sound like the game is effin with you.

Absolutely fucking love this game. Unfortunately my only ventures into cyberpunk games have been Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Observer and SOMA. Three of the best, video games in general (imo), to come out in the last decade. I feel like anything else will probably pale in comparison and I ate desert first. You caught so many details I didn't notice when I played the game. Insane _observation_ skills. I think even if I'd gone through my own gameplay footage I still would have missed a lot of the small details you picked up on. Wonderful video! I just might have to subscribe to your Patreon to see the side-quests video. Cheers!

I loved this game, it was stunning visually, truly knew to keep it's bounds to a small-semi-open world, and it delivered it's punches well. Although the "boss" level was rather... doll, the ending was slightly "meh", but the overall experience, exploration and just vibe of the game really set it as something to remember. The small details make this game, it's a well-polished small experience bubble that really took it's inspirations, ideas and concepts and materialized them... It's a game for people that love to pick around corners and see everything the game has, I love it for it. It's a rare game in my opinion, it also one of those games that actually bother with the sci-fi concepts of a cyberpunk setting. Allot of games that have these setting never delve into anything actually deep about the technologies and how they impact the simple person. This game gave one massive light to the "simple person in the world" narrative... The people behind the doors really made this game what it is, it gave so much personality with so little.

i fucking love alien isolation, you should take a look at it one day. also, at the start, alien isolation doesnt really apply to those games you mentioned, as it does give you tools to fight back at, its more of a survival horror than anything.
