This game was directed by Cory Barlog, the same director of the 2018 God of War. So far, he is the only person to direct two God of War games. Every God of War game until then had a different director for each one. It goes to show the talent they have a Santa Monica Studio to have someone else step in each time and be able to turn out the same amazing level of quality.

fun fact: the first boss that you fight in the game the golden statue/colossus of Rhodes was built in honour of Helios so you’re actually fighting a golden statue of Helios as the first boss

Welcome back Eralia!!! Just a quick note - there's a huge volume difference between the game and your mic which means if it's loud enough to hear the game dialogue then you're basically shouting, of you're at a normal volume the game audio is so quiet it's like hearing it through next door's wall

Eralia, if you learn how to use L1 you would be better than 70% of every person that plays that game. If you learn this, you can even try to play this in very hard, is the only mode that mobs endure more so you can enjoy better the fights doing combos and stuff 1 tip, when the games put this quick time event where you need to move the R3 (analog) to left and right multiple times, just place your palm on top of the analogs and do the right and left stuff, is very easy :)

22:50 There, set "Full Frame" on every time you start the game (it always automatically resets at game launch no matter what), it'll look better and show more things/space in screen. And even though I love the soundtrack of this game, I suggest you to lower the "Music Volume" 2 steps to the left, it'll help you hear the story's dialogues better.

GoW 2 it's my favorite game of the whole saga! Check in the options menu *if* there is a "widescreen mode" and turn it on, the game will look much better in a 16:9 laptop screen. You *might* have to do this every time you open/launch the game since it resets even after saving the game/config. If nothing like that appears, don't mind me, I remember that from the PS2 era. Have a great experience and be safe!

unrelated to the vid but I wanted to give ya a heads up, but when you do get around to gow3, IF you are trying to emulate gow3, it is very buggy/hard to run.... you might have to get a hold of an old ps3/ps4 and get a copy of the game that way!

You're basically playing GoW as if it's a souls game with all the precise dodging you're doing - I think you should do just fine with souls games, I highly recommend Elden Ring. Not very rich in story-telling, but it is rich in environmental details and lore :P

You better get those thumbs and pointer fingers ready because these presses and quick time events get insane from this game forward. Most of the egregious puzzle horseshit and weird Prince of Persia balancing beam progress halting stuff is pretty nonexistent here, though there are a couple of spots. Not as bad but you might notice. Like I said, every Greek era God of War game aside from Ghost of Sparta has some dumb shit sections in it. And get used to parrying because this game demands parrying halfway though the game up until the final boss. You better be a pro at that timing!!!!
