It’s gonna sound stupid but part of me wonders if he has blue eyes. People with blue eyes perceive changes in light (something along those lines) faster than others. Good example of this is Professional Hockey Goalies. I myself have blue eyes and also have been told my whole life “how did you see that/ you reacted so quickly”

If you’re wondering why that would be the case it’s due to people with blue eyes not actually having any color in their eyes. Our eye colors are just the color our eyes don’t absorb. Blue eyed people have clear eyes, but the only light not absorbed is blue, which is why blue eyes can vary in color or intensity based on outside light source.

what i did to be able to spot hunter better at a distance was to use image sharpening and set it to 80 or 100%, i find it to be usefull to easilly spot moving hunters at a distance, i use AMD but i dont know if Nvidia has a similar setting

Crytek shouldnt buff guns based on how many ppl use it, the cyclone is a good weapon but i feel ppl dont use it because it's boring. If they keep buffing this gun its gunna get to the point ppl will use it cuz it's op and not necessarily cuz they want to

Crack shot works well with cyclone. You can push more confidently. I'll be using it more regularly for the duration of the event. However yeah, without that it's still nothing to write home about. The complainers do what they do - complain.

Agreed. The poor hip fire accuracy with it hurts more often than you'd think, but crack shot makes it pretty reliable

My experience with seeing it was oh no the balance will be terrible but after using it a few times. I can say with confidence just give me a sparks or bolt actions. It’s not great. I’d say it’s pretty balanced .

My feeling about this gun is still that its way too expensive for what it is. at longer range you still need to re-aim after every shot so (for me and my mid-tier skills) the actual rate of fire isnt that great+(velocity is crap) and at shorter range the magazine is empty way faster than it should be. Basically i will always do better with a Winnie+levering.

idk, i love the idea of cyclone, i thought that it would be mt main weapon, but now i just can't land my shots with it. I can land the same shots with sparks or other weapon, but just can't with cyclone. Even on the distance you don't need to lead. for example 30-40 meters. Don''t know why

It feels so good now. It's not as strong as the "old" cyclone with HV before the nerf, but I really don't see a reason why you should ever pick the Officer Carbine now. Edit: I still want to see the iron sights reworked though. That would be the best buff in my opinion.

Personally I like the Cyclone, I guess I don’t use it much because in and around the price point there are more fun options. Saying that, I’ve had some great wins with the Cyclone in compounds, it’s good in 30m and under engagements, generally a double tap. Might give it a go a little more often.

This gun doesn't need to be buffed. It is fine and good. I don't use it because its a variant unlock, I am always prestiging, and I never use the veterli. I suspect this is why other people dont use it as well. What they really need to do is get rid of prestige, make it so there are 100x100 levels instead, and get rid of unlock resets. Wipe everyones hunter roster and bank roll once every every year.

Im glad the cyclone and the other semi-autos arent that popular. Ive always liked hunts emphasis on careful, methodical gunfighting. Making semi autos too strong would really detract from that.

It's not just the Cyclone that needs the buff, it's all the Vetterlis, no one plays that gun and its variants because of its awful muzzle velocity (unless you play HV, which reduces its already puny damage). Right now there is no reason to chose the Vetterli over the Nagant Carbine.

its not that the cyclone is bad. there are just better options. Especially if you want a fast firing weapon there is the officer carbine which is just a total headclicker.

The officer carbine is a much worse gun now that it HV was heavily nerfed on it. It has like half the 2 tap range of the cyclone , shoots slower and has more recoil now. I never see it since the HV nerf. Cyclone base MV is almost as fast as the officer with HV.

The cyclone is 280$ for 24 medium bullets of 124 damage at 410m/s with 4 rounds in a mag, and if you use high velo it's 340$ for 16 bullets of 116 damage at 510 m/s. The Krag is 345$ for 18 shots of 126 damage long bullets travelling at 610m/s in a 6 round magazine that reloads fast and doesn't need bulletgrubber. Why would you choose a gun with less ammo, less pen, less damage over range, less muzzle velocity, and less magazine size for just a 0.8 s faster cycle rate? Krag is just superior in everything except cycle rate and cost, and for cost it's literally just 5$ more while being so much better.

Valid points, but you cant just pass up the 0.8s cycle rate. Almost every scenario you can two tap a person while the krag cant. But lets be honest, its not that the cyclone is underpowered. The Krag is way overturned right now, esp with the silencer update.

The tradeoff is with 2 extra long ammo you'll be able to fish for wallbangs and continue holding angles after shooting multiple times, whereas with the cyclone after 2 or 3 shots you either need to reload or take a fight with only 1 or 2 bullets. Also, when you fight outside at ranges longer than 40m damage fall-of becomes a thing. Also also, if you down someone and they get revive bolted or necro'd you can just execute them with a bodyshot from the krag. Sure you can two tap the guy on revive with a cyclone, but that's also 2 less bullets for a peek or a push from the rest of the guys team AND your reload is worse, and if you miss the second shot you're cooked. The crisp two taps you get from the cyclone just aren't worth all the times the gun just doesn't perform compared to the krag, but to be fair the krag is probably the best rifle right now in terms of value proposition.
