I gave them an idea... keep like this 6/6, but increase the ammo pool... you spawn with 6/6 but if you find ammo ingame you can go to 6/9.. the same with High Velocity because they nerfed the ammo pool for no reason.

I genuinely think they should reduce the price at this point. It does sub 125 now and has a ruduced ammo capacity. They haven't touched the price at all. Not saying to make it cheap, just fix the price accordingly.

Honestly I wouldnt even think of buying it above 250 dollars in this state. Seems like its like that for most players. I have seen only a handfull of uppercuts in my games since the big update (in 6*). There was 0 reasons for the nerf, I literally dont understand the reasons behind it.

I have no problem buying, say, nitro shredder (1240$), because the gun worth it, even after all the recent nerfs, but uppercut... I have around 70K$ on my account, and I'd still not buy it, it's just not worth 414$, and the alternatives are simply better, like pax trueshot fmj or uppermat. Not saying that current money economy is alright, tho.

They should definetly revert the ammo change atleast. I've never really found the uppercut oppressive. It's a slow hardhitting pistol, if you miss you're dead in many situations. Dolch for example is 100x more oppressive and doesn't even punish you for missing a shot. Uppercut is just a stronger conversion with a MUCH higher pricetag.

This is a perfect Nerf; the 6 + 9 Reserve for the regular uppercut had the same ammo reserve for Mosin Obrez. Its to nerf your cringe shotgun + Uppercut Loadouts (usually people only need Muzzle velocity, muzzle velocity is king) So if you want to cover both close range AND long range effectively, You're now gonna need to invest more like quartermaster with optional perks like Iron eye or bullet grubber.

Cmon Crytek... USE YOUR BRAINS... They nerfed High Velocity and FMJ, removed Dumdum from most ammo (there is no long ammo Dumdum for a reason)... what you think was going to happen? People surely would go back to long ammo every day.

I mean I'm not complaining that dumdum got reduced. Couldn't go a fight without centennial dumdum just spamming me down. I think the gun variety is pretty good right now. Honestly with the penetration updates, I have been finding it harder to enjoy light ammo though. I think med and long ammo are in good spots now.

Remember the 'Infernal Pact': Bloodless (Conditional effect) - Bleeding stops automatically because your wounds are cauterized, 1s after bleeding starts. Make Bloodless do something like that... it'll stop the bleeding automatically... maybe instead of instantly, make a 3 seconds timer to stop bleeding. Crytek don't realise that EVERY SINGLE nerf to Compact and Medium is a buff to the already meta Long Ammo.

Hunt inflation is real, weapons cost more but perform worse than they have before, Avtomat, uppercut, haymaker, shredder, etc. If you nerf a weapon then you should also reduce the price to compensate.

I could not care less about the Uppercut, for the longest time it was annoying as fuck. It one-tapped people with a small bar missing. You had enough ammo to last you most fights. The sway is not really an issue. It is long ammo, so it retains damage over long distance. Yeah sure it had some downsides, but it had much more upsides, to a point where not taking it was handcapping yourself. It was basically the Mosin of sidearms - the most boring ass, meta gun for sweatlords.

Prior to nerf I found nothing wrong with the balance of the pistols, I would see such a huge variety of pistols and medium slot side arms being used. Post nerf, it's all Dolches and Bornheims in every match. It just seems like crytek nerfs things for no good reason sometimes and yet bows are still an insta-kill up to like 100 meters because of blademancer being broken.

Compact ammo has a higher drop range then long ammo it makes since compact ammo is light and travel faster and longer then heavier slower rounds

Yeah that’s not how gun physics work. Heavier rifle cartridges travel significantly further and faster than compact ammo. The increased mass means the bullet has more momentum to push through air for longer, reducing the effects of drag and allowing it to travel further. They did it to try to nerf the long ammo meta, but if we were going for realism the system needs to be inverted, long ammo should have the least drop while compact should have the most. They just should not of added bullet drop to this game to begin with, nobody asked for it.
