The first movie I ever saw in a theater was Snow White in 1989, I was just four years old. I remember it vividly and it helps that Christmas Vacation was being released later that year as the theater was full of promotional items, including the cutout of Chevy Chase being electrocuted by Christmas lights.

Great choice on the tee. I didn't really see much of anything inspiring me to purchase. They had a denim jacket that was pretty cool. I couldn't make it this year. Great coverage ! It's kind of weird that I haven't been to any of this yet, I'm such a fan of the old school Disney stuff. I did a quick search but I still can't tell if its been covered here before, if not it'd be so awesome to see you someday cover the old Hyperion location, Kingswell, and any of Roy and Walt's old stomping grounds etc. That Dreamer statue is fantastic, and I'm wondering how tall Walt is here compared to the Partners and Storytellers statues. 👍

Has the Expo changed since you last attended? Thanks for showing us around. When they had the first Expo several years ago, I thought it would be something I would like to attend someday (same thing with Star Wars Celebration). Now, with the state Disney has declined, it saddens me more than anything else. They’ve completely lost any semblance to Walt’s vision and in another few years will be dropping “Walt” from the company’s name altogether. 😢

You're right. Walt's name is slowing being pushed out of the company name. Probably for the better since the company no longer fallows Walt's vision anyways and anything the company does today seems like a mockery to the man himself. Although the fans are trying to keep his name alive. Just like the toad in the boiling water saying goes. Walt's name will fade from the fans as well and the Disney company will become just another soulless mega corporation.

There was an Anime convention up in Seattle that I used to go to every year. When it first started. it had about 5-6K attendance. Once it hit 20K. I quit going and have never been back since. Just like you. I too can't handle large crows.

You should have gotten in line!! I was in the Legends panel. There were hundreds of empty seats! The farthest corner section of seats was completely empty. I'm assuming if you were IN the line, you will get seated.
