The DAI33 Skyline GT-R SEMA Build - Episode 1

Welcome to the DAI33 Skyline GT-R SEMA Build with GReddy Performance, Toprank Importers, and Turn 14 Distribution! In this first episode of the series, I bring Sam Du from Pit+Paddock to Toprank Importers in Cypress, CA, to pick up my R33! We chat with Brian and Yaska and get a full tour of their facility and learn the story of how Toprank Importers has become what they are today. They showed us some candidates for my R33 purchase, but we ultimately landed on a well-maintained, unmolested 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R Series 1 with 44,000 miles in silver. People hate on the 33 but I'm a big fan of them once tastefully modified, I blame Shuto Kousoku Trial Max. My favorite cruise/wangan car. I'm surprised you went for such an OE/clean starting point, I feel like you ate a $20k "tip" for the premium example, but I'm very interested to see where it goes from here! We don't see Trust-built blocks too often in the states, so I'm hoping that's part of it :) おめでとう～！
