I just read about a neat gift-giving tradition in Maria Von Trapp’s “Around the Year with the Von Trapps.” (Yes, the real Maria😊). It is the Austrian tradition called “Christkindl,” or Christ Child. The premise is that all family members secretly draw each other’s names from a hat/bowl. Through the entirety of Advent, a kind deed or surprise must be done for the person whose name you have drawn. It must, however, be done without being discovered by the recipient. It makes for a very suspenseful, exciting, loving atmosphere. It brings to the forefront of our mind that in doing good things, simple things, kind things for one another, we are really doing it for Christ, Whose birthday we celebrate. Of course it can be wonderful to share purchased gifts with family and friends, and if such presents as found in this gift guide are well within the budget of your family, then go for it. But let us not lose sight of prize. Let us not forsake the meaningful treasures of this holy season by answering the tempting call of commercialism, in which the true spirit of love is lost.

Great ideas but I will have to say that everything you are offering are super expensive. Not everyone can afford anything from the companies you are advertising for. Even though you are trying to make it seem like you are not but it is obvious that you must be making either a commission on the products or are being compted some free product.
