As always it’s always nice to see a video from Yuriko-Chan. You are very talented. The music and way you film your videos captures the reality of what you’re trying to do or say. I just spend my days working 70 plus hours and don’t even have time to go grocery shopping! You’re amazing.

Nice choices for cooking! Do you ever use a small tawashi for cleaning root vegetables? They're good for cleaning gobo, ninjin, daikon, Satsuma imo...so you keep all the nutritious skin and don't scrape anything off but still get things very clean under running water. They usually have packs of 2 small tawashi at hyakuen shops. As for "cat hands," it's definitely the best way. to chop. Unfortunately, in some other places people are not taught a safe way...they often stick their fingers straight out dangerously. Abunai desuyo. I do suggest gripping your knife a little closer to (even touching) the blade, for better control and balance. You're fortunate to have a health-conscious mom. And if you keep practicing, someday you'll make kinpira like your obaachan! (More carrot = more sweet, if she used ninjin. And she might not have soaked her gobo....) Komatsuna became bok choy in captions! I didn't hear Enoden go by.

I mentioned before wife and I went to Kamakura last time we went to Japan in 2023. It is a great place to live because you are close to the ocean which gives a relaxed vibe....and if you are so busy....then coming home is a true relax feel. Just loved that area. As oppose to living Tokyo. Tokyo is great....but there you are in the middle of so much. Right? Anyway, the daily life in Kamakura is actually pretty good. ☺🎌

I like how you speak in Japanese during your videos, even though I must read your English translations to fully understand. I am only able to speak a few sentences in Japanese, as well as ask for directions during travel. I must study more. Watching you prepare your food was quite interesting, and yes, a larger pot would be helpful.😊My wish is that KZbin would have an option to allow for us to smell what you were cooking, as it looked delicious! Please enjoy!

I started relearning Japanese in October (Was an exchange student in Kiso, Nagano in 2010) and you speak very clear and understandable Japanese. The combo of English and Kana makes it a fun excercise for me to listen to every day Japanese. I love my classes here in Oslo, but sometimes it's very 'constrained' since I can't use it outside of the classroom here. Very nice to follow these videos! Also, as a cat owner myself: Yuri-san no neko wa totemo kawaii!

Your business partner is a very fortunate person to work alongside someone like you. I hope you get to 100000 subscribers soon. By the way, your music choice is excellent. One question: what is the difference between cooking sake and regular drinking sake?
@i.am.yurichan8 күн бұрын
Thank you for your kind comments! Cooking wine is a condiment, so unlike regular alcohol, it is a mixture of many things and is adjusted to better suit the dish: ☺️

I watched the entire video from start to finish - and learned a few things about Yurichan today: 1.) Her mother raised her to be a wonderful person. 2.) Her cat has an impressively fluffy tail! 3.) She is ... surprisingly clumsy when holding things. Gimbal fumbling aside, we'll be sad if your future video has you missing a finger. So please be careful with that knife... 🙏 Oh, and I hope your potatoes came out well.

Thank you very much for another very useful video. I am about to begin the A2-B1 level set of lectures with my teacher, and I have decided to use your videos as listening practice. Please continue to produce these videos, and keep your speech as natural and as normal as possible. It is an invaluable tool for getting accustomed to the real Japanese pronunciation. In time, I hope I will be able to speak more and write more in Japanese -- and then I may share with you a project I am working on, that require a certain mastery of Japanese language, and that involves trains ;-) またね!
