@@laurentfaurite8660 I am not advocating extinction of cows. Just the end of the cruel animal foods industry that is polluting our ground water. Using more that it fare share of water, causing deforestation, and spreading e-coli contamination. Honestly I wouldn't want to work in an industry that causes harm to our earthly habitat, and to the humans that eat those products. Dairy leads to cancers, diabetes, auto immune diseases, heart disease and other maladies plaguing humanity. There is no need for all this pain, and suffering. @@laurentfaurite8660 Either you did not watch the video, or your Dairy corporate shill. I have been vegan 26 years now. My health greatly improve once I gave up dairy. My health problem was not related to meat as I was born into a vegetarian home. I am in my sixties now, and my friends and peers are suffering all the diseases caused by eating animal based foods. Several have now died of heart disease, and cancers. Several suffer terribly from auto immune diseases. Mean while my wife and I are doing great. We are not over weight, our blood pressures are around 110/70. No diabetes, heart disease. or cancers. Our blood test always come back good, and our doctor says to keep up what ever we are doing. The blue zones showed one important fact. The less animal base proteins in the diet, the greater the longevity, and health. I read the book.

I was vegetarian for years, mainly for the health benefits. Finally went vegan a little over a year ago, for the ethical reasons. To my surprise, my decades-long minor acne cleared up in a week. And while I thought I might loose a few pounds, I ended up loosing 16 pounds of mostly belly fat, the most unhealthy fat, in three months. Without ever being hungry. So now I buy some chocolate almond milk and a little vegan "cheese". The cheese does cost considerably more than cow cheese. But healthier foods, like organic, often cost more. So I look at it that way, pay more for a cruelty-free product with little or no saturated fat, no antibiotics, and no mammalian hormones.

Milk, there are so many different kinds to choose from, oat, soy, nut, hemp, etc. and even flavored like strawberry and chocolate. Cheese, there are a few good ones depending on where you live. Keep trying new ones and you will definitely find one that does everything regular cheese can do. I got a new one recently Applewood smoked cheese and it melts great. Also had a great cheddar a while back I got from a vegan online retailer. There are also so many plant based meats, Beyond burger, hoisin duck, pulled pork, etc. Really it's never been easier, and I can't think why anyone wouldn't choose these kind of products over products that harm animals. The dairy industry is on the decline? This is the best news I've heard for a long time. Eating animals and drinking animal milk is completely unsustainable. People, including meat eaters, are concerned about greenhouse gases, completely ignoring the fact that methane, produced by animals, is a far more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. How irrational is that?

After 4 decades of constant consumption of dairy, I'd simply assumed that my joint pain, eczema, headaches, and heartburn were a normal part of life for a 45 year-old man. Nope. My body was just reacting normally to its daily infusion of cows' milk, a substance that never should have entered my mouth in the first place.

In the UK , dairy farms have either changed from dairy to beef or have increased substantial in size .Sadly the supermarkets have established a near monopoly in buying milk . There is however the start of a trend for farmers to produce organic , untreated milk and for the return of milk being delivered to the door from small local dairies who buy only from smaller local dairy farmers . As an example I have milk delivered to my house in glass returnable bottles at £0.67 per pint .

Once a staple of the British household, milk consumption in the UK has fallen steadily over the last 70 years. In 2016, fresh milk sales were down by £54 million, according to research from The Grocer. In January of that year, the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) announced that one in ten British dairy farms had closed since 2013. Despite the UK being the third largest producer of milk in the EU, the AHDB published a report this July stating that, “the free-from dairy market has been developing rapidly and has been consistently in double digit growth for the past few years.” The British public has spoken. Cow’s milk isn’t the essential it once was." "Oat milk sales have surged by a whopping 71% in 2019, as Brits have bought over £36m worth of the dairy alternative. Meanwhile, coconut milk sales rose 16% and sales of almond milk increased 10%. Reflecting this, Swedish oat milk brand Oatly reported its UK sales shot up by 90% to £18m in 2018. The company expects UK sales will surpass £30m this year." @@BillyBob-qu1fs I don't think you realise the nonsense you talk. People won't stop using animal products overnight. This will be a long, slow process, although it will happen. There will be no 'massive culling' of herds (as opposed to the endless massive slaughter we have now) any more than there was a 'massive culling' of horses when we (relatively quickly) stopped using horses for transport. The very few cows left will be looked after in animal sanctuaries. Strange, isn't it, how meat eaters suddenly become concerned at the imaginary 'massive culling' of animals?
