I love the Dali Lama, my life is so much more comfortable and happy now that I have learned the way of Buddhism. We live in a beautiful Universe, and we can always be happy as we choose to be. If you read the History of Tibet, you will understand the strength and beauty of the Dalai Lama.

His holiness predicted that he will live for 113 or more to serve all the beings as he has been doing all his life tirelessly. No one can live calm and happy after facing this much hard tough troublesome life. Defending all negative emotions like a solid rock. His vast ocean like wisdom and limitless space like compassion inspire us and give us courage to be like him. May I never be detached from you. Thank you for everything.

It was predicted centuries ago that the 14th Dalai Lama would like to be 113. They didn't know about modern medicine back then, so that's quite a prediction. Another lama predicted recently that the Dalai Lama would live to be 113. One can only hope. Twenty-five more years with this guy, at this point in civilization, would be alright.

Whole buddhism is a science... If you learn definitely you will learn to love live more healthy. My advice learning buddhism or meditation should b added in each school university ..it is not a religion , but it is a way to live ur life successfuly in positive way. But i know afraid religious people despite of its benefits will not do this..not for sake of humanity too. Long life HH ....we all love you..pray for you. Try to meditate.. Try to be on path of humanity, love, live with altruistic attitude. Its hard yet working for it. Namo buddhaya, may we all have peace. 🙏🏻🇮🇳

Its politicised education in a capitalist system; it thrives on contrast, difference, competition. Its not interested in common values, social cohesion or humane considerations. The more influenced one is by his environment the less he is able to shape it. That is why the Buddha said ' be a light to yourself' first - then see that all humankind is suffering one way or another. I mean childhood, teen years do not last long. Sooner or later.......Love Dalai Lama, Krishnamurti, Davi Bohm et al.

I didn't watch the whole interview, so my comment is based on the title on this interview. I used to think also that women should rule the world, you know such girl power. We have been ruled for so many centuries by men, even God is a man. When men are too much in power, the world becomes very toxic and not a funny place at all. The great example is the Middle East where men are in charge, they dominate and control women, tell them to put burka for instance because they don't want to take responsibility for their arousal, so they blame a woman and tell her to take the responsibility and cover herself from head to toe, so she wouldn't tempt him. The solution is not to overpower men and putting man below a woman. We would have a similar situation as we have now and then men would get fed up and would start asserting their rights and would put the world again in a place it is right now. The solution is balance. Balance of masculinity and femininity. Balance of estrogen with testosterone. Balance between yin and yang. Balance between empathy and logic. Thus, both women and men should rule the world equally. When this balance is achieved, then we have a chance for peace in this world. It was a nice gesture from Dalai Lama supporting femininity, but I don't think he is totally right. Maybe he meant it in reference to the world it is right now, dominated by masculine energy and too much conflict and war.
@jackgempler49023 жыл бұрын
You probably forgot about this comment 😂but I'm gonna reply anyway. I read ur whole comment and also watched the whole video. I believe the point he was making was about how it has been scientifically proven that women have more compassion than men and as a Buddhist, believing compassion is key to a successful world. We should maximize compassion in leadership roles, hence letting woman take those positions. However, I also agree with what ur saying about how if it was only women it would be unbalanced but also don't think it should be 5050 since I think men being more masculine by nature would potentially still take control so maybe like 75 percent women 25 percent men idk lol. Ur comment I j found very interesting and wanted to give my thoughts
@satyendrsingh60713 жыл бұрын
@@jackgempler4902 "since I think men being more masculine by nature would potentially still take control" And 25% so you want a man-less civilization, 😭😭 😭 And laughing at men, you are a bloody feminazi. We in older age take responsibility for women there are also laws today that husband is provider and protector, and women has choice whether she want to work or not. We men don't have choices. Men only has responsibilities. Women only has rights. In legal parameters. 25% where we should go, will you provide food to us will women in future take ours responsibility as us. If no 😭😭😭😭🙏

@@jackgempler4902 women should have privilege to maximize compassion in leadership roles, But men being more musculine by nature still take control. There is a difference between "should" and "being" And, Letting women take those positions by what privileges, And men by nature only.. This is called gender discrimination. 😭

Everyone, particularly world political leaders, should be more compassionate. But, voters are not attracted to this characteristic. They want tough guys. Sad. The dali lama introduced Buddhism to America and I am happy he did. Slowly, this belief system is spreading. It is very close to indigenous beliefs for living. The respect for all life should be universal, but it isn't. Our civil and religious institutions are failing us. Instead let's ban books and a broad education, a nonsensical solution.

@mai66713 Жыл бұрын
Buddhism is not about any God. Some may say that it is an atheistic religion. The Buddha never mentioned same sex relationships. In general, people through history weren’t exactly approving about same sex relationships but also weren’t as opposed to it as the Judeo Christian religions have made it out to be.
