Trading for lance was to see if he could be starter so he didn't have to pay dak but found out lance wasn't best chance for s.b run so he agreed to dak contract and lance will either released traded or back up.

I did some research. Trey Lance has a CMP% of 57. Caleb Williams is 62%. Caleb also has 200 more passing attempts. T/I ratio for Trey is 5/2 while Caleb’s is 9/5. Average yards per pass for Trey is 8.5 while Caleb’s is 6.2. Trey had 4 sacks and Caleb had 20. Rushing wise Trey had 38 carries for 168 yards. Caleb had 25 carries for 169 yards. So should Caleb be benched or traded or do we believe in the development?

Why would Cooper Rush start? They know Cooper is not good, so let's roll with Rush and get a loss. They throw in Lance and lose more games, and get a high draft pick in the upcoming draft. This is the reality of the Cowboys; they realize that this year is in motion for a rebuild. Dak will be released and replaced by Sanders as his father becomes our new head coach; bet this now with Vegas for a big pay day.

They are not gonna pay dak to sit bench so we're stuck with him and his cap space, so getting all pieces we need in within next 4 years is Longshot unless we get some phenomenal rookies who are starting material first year and enough of them we may have chance at s.b. with dak but my personal belief is dak just isn't s.b caliber qb. He's too much in his head that he makes mistakes in stress situations like redbone and playoff games.
